Started coming November of 2021. Other than going through a couple different counselors (because they left) I have finally found a really great one. From the head of the facility, to the nurses, and the last front desk lady was so kind and knew everyone by name. At this point I haven t really got to meet the new front desk person or new doctor but I m sure they will be just as awesome. I ve guest dosed at other clinics and NONE of them I went to were as caring/compassionate about rehabilitation as this one is. BHG is also much more efficient about getting you in and out than those other clinics I went to. Thank you so much for my sobriety and life back BHG!

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Been coming here 9 years best clinic I've been to by far... as far as the bad reviews complete bologney. Never had any issues. People get mad when they aren't doing treatment by the rules and loose carries... their fault the staff has strict guidelines they have to follow for state and govt to not shut them down!

My girlfriend is on the methadone treatment here. It is $11 a day which is $1 more then most other clinics in surrounding areas. They allow her to have a limited balance that she owes which is not allowed at most other clinics. I have quit using methadone twice and never want to use it again because of the negative experiences I've had at clinics. The financial burden, clinic policy headaches, everyday trip to and from clinic to dose, health issues caused by long term use, and especially the withdrawal are horrible. The government and all clinics supply this highly addictive and dangerous drug to addicts but only if the addict pays money for it, so the legal drug dealer clinic has no incentive to ever help you quit using the methadone because it would be a loss in drug sells and that would be a loss in the drug dealers profits. Clinics do not care about the individual addict or they would be giving their "helpful" narcotic to people in need at no charge.

Nurses are extremely rude ...especially when you get your doses They act like there so bothered by anything you ask I really dont like going here everyday finding another place ASAP they really need new staff. The therapists are kind and genuine but that's about the only thing good there.....

Wonderful staff!! My counselor has changed my life, along with the medication itself.. If it wasn't for the clinic, I would be dead, in prison, or wishing for either of those choices just to escape my active addiction!! The staff there truly cares about all of us patients and they are not overcrowded, so wait times are minimal and if ur 'going thru it' or things are really rough and life is getting too hard, u can ALWAYS count on ur counselor to listen and actually work with you to help find a solution to ur problem. Including going online or making phone calls on our behalf to help us get info and find places to help us with things like getting disability, legal issues and fines, food, housing, financial help for rent and utilities, and they even offer more intensive treatment, if needed. I have been on methadone for 6 years (yes, I know that is way too long but I broke my back and used it as pain relief, also) ...anyway, BHG has been the best clinic I have ever been a part of. I am currently dropping my dose by 2 mgs every week or two, depending on how I feel (I've gone from 100mgs, down to 34mgs in about 6 months or so ) to finally detox off of it, and everyone from my counselor, the nurses, and even the reception staff are all supportive and uplifting. Have about 4-5 months left at the most...and I will actually miss the staff there and will probably go out of my way to visit!!P. S...I went to their other site in KCK (1125 N 5th Street) and also loved everyone and had a counselor there named Linda that LITERALLY saved my sanity and got me thru my closest friend/roommate's suicide last year. This is a book...sorry. Just can't day enough positive things about BHG. If u are ready to quit using opiates, I can't recommend BHG highly enough!! They have kept me going thru all the chaos around me and I love them for it!! Amazing and wonderful company!!
