Facilitator attendance for alcohol class is extremely flaky. Considering that a lot of people are court ordered to attend their classes, I'm baffled at the amount of times that the facilitators seemingly just can't be bothered to show up, or let anyone know whether or not class is going to be cancelled. Please stop being flaky for people who are court ordered to attend your sessions and rely on that attendance as, again, part of their court ordered activity.

The best therapist I could have ever asked for! I have 2 of my children seeing Chuck and Jennifer and all I could say is I am so grateful for them. They are not just "therapist" they are genuine caring people. Growing up in therapy I always felt awkward and judged so I was iffy when looking for therapist for my girls. But my girls have a connection with them. They get excited to go see them and that just shows how great they are. Thank you so much Chuck and Jennifer you all are simply AMAZING

Accepted Insurance

Bridge Street Counseling works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

He is Very Rude and hung up on me after I simply asked what insurance he accepts!!!

Response from the owner3 years ago
Very misleading comment. You asked if we accept Medicaid. I told you no then said sorry we don't and the call disconnected. I assumed you hung on me which often happens when I tell people I do not accept Medicaid. However, I was working off my cell phone most of the time and it does drop calls from time to time due to the area I live in. Sorry if you felt I hung up on you but your comment is very misleading. Think about it, since I accept insurance why would I hang up on someone when they allegedly ask, "What insurance to you accept?" We do not accept Medicaid but we do accept Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care.

I feel extremely blessed to have been introduced to Bridge Street Counseling. I see Chuck on a weekly basis and look forward to each session we have. Both Chuck and his son are caring and kindhearted counselors who show true commitment to their clients. I feel welcome into class every week by Chuck and his outstanding and warmhearted secretary. Not one time have I felt even the slightest bit of judgement while being there. People ask me why if I live in Golden do I make the 40 minute drive to Brighton for my sessions. The answer is easy, because I couldn't imagine having a better counselor than Chuck! I m so very thankful for the difference he has made in my life!

Everyone here is awesome and understanding. They don t treat you like a criminal for your mistake and they actually make class fun. I have issues that cause me to need a service dog and make me extremely uncomfortable in public but I have not had any problems coming to bridge street counciling, they have made me feel comfortable and safe every time I m there and I actually look forward to class now.
