Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving care at an outpatient rehab remain in their own homes and attend treatment as often as daily, depending on the level of need. Outpatient care generally consists of psychotherapy, addiction education, life skills training, and community reintegration support. Many outpatient treatment centers provide step-down care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and standard outpatient services. Some outpatient rehabs also offer ambulatory medical detox and medication assisted treatment (MAT).
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

I agree with Stephanie, the male on the phone is very unappealing

We re so sorry that you had the experience of not connecting with our scheduler! Just as we want you to find the right fit in your BHTG therapist, we d like you to feel the right fit for your scheduling or administrative needs. We d like to offer the option of asking for Kristi or Tatiana by name when you call in - they are trained and are also highly skilled in serving our clients on phone calls! Thank you for your comment- we take our work very seriously and will use your feedback to do better.

I have been seeing Karen Waldrop for about 3 years now. She was absolutely amazing and deserves 5 stars! I have two small children now and she was so patient and willing to reschedule whenever I needed it when I had them and just in general. She also helped me so much to manage my anxiety and grief, plus she's just a great person to talk to. She was also there for me when I went through major life changes and I am so grateful for that.Since she's retired now I won't be continuing at Beverly Hills Therapy Group and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the male who answers the phone there ( I wish I would've gotten his name). He is very unfriendly and makes it sound like you're an inconvenience when you call.

Hi Stephanie - first of all, we just want to thank you for honoring our therapist Karen the way you did with your review. She is a wonderful therapist, and we will miss her wisdom as she moves into retirement! We are so very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with one of our scheduling team members. BHTG employs a trained team of 4 schedulers dedicated to making sure our clients talk to a live person when they call, instead of having to leave a voicemail and play phone tag. It sounds like your experience was not very helpful and didn't accomplish what we hope for - which is for you to know you are our top priority. We will address your feedback with our team and will use your comment to strengthen our client support. If you'd like to talk about this further, please do not hesitate to reach out to Christine or Marcy, as we would like to make it right. If you change your mind and decide to stay with BHTG, we would love the opportunity to find another great therapist fit for you!

I had Nefertiti almost a year ago. My friend recently got recommended to this place and I wouldn t suggest. She told me the things that happened bad to me in my life was because I was Muslim (which from what she knew about it was evil) and suggested I convert to Christianity. Also, I guess she was tired of me complaining about the death of my daughter and stated I needed to get my life together and stop having a pity party. I expressed guilt about decisions and how I didn t feel deserving of the good life I had and she stated, good things happen to bad people. As a nurse I can t believe anyone would feel comfortable to say those things her energy was off and covetous. BUT I did switch therapist to Marcia who was phenomenal and I would give her a 5 star.

Response from the owner8 months ago
Thank you so much for providing us with valuable feedback! Nefertiti is no longer employed by our practice. Marcia is an excellent therapist and we consistently receive wonderful feedback about her. She truly touches people, especially with her specialized work around grief and loss. Our current team of therapists share a dedication to providing the highest quality care to every client. Again, thank you for reaching out to us! Please don't hesitate to call us if we can help further.
