Would be a great place if there wasn't predators..I was very optimistic about Bella Monte Recovery Center...It started off Great at least I thought so.. I was given medication I was told was to help detox but it made me numb and I was losing memory from the day before not remembering the nights ect... I started having flash backs thought were dreams..or nightmares.... 2 weeks of things that I didn't know even happened. I didn't have recollection of much that went on at first then when I stopped taking the meds the fog started to clear and realized that they had put me on an anti- psychotic and anti depression medication w/o my consent also was given high doses 300mg of seroquil witch is insane for my 120lb body...and who knows what else found out from a patient that a worker named Curtis was coming into my room at night. Well he tried it not knowing I skipped out on meds and he tried kissing me..I reported him but I doubt the reported got filed as they all look out for each other..one of the female patient told me she new something was wrong because i was walking around confused like a zombie and i was having sex with a male patient I thought worked there but was A (Regular) patient they have I realized the dreams were real and were flashbacks. I approached this man and he confirmed that yes we did have sex among other things but insisted it was completely consensual. I new he was telling the truth because of the flash backs.. I would never in a million years slept with this guy im 33 and happily married he is 54 and homeless idk how this could possibly happen.. after i calmed down some he proceeds to tell me i that the male worker Curtis had oral sex with me and told him he should go for it...i was beyond devastated idk what in the world was going on although i was in complete shock i still couldnt shed a tear and tho i was infuriated on the inside i had trouble expressing any emotion what so ever i was so numb to the world to feel hurt but not feel was a new feeling for me its hard to explain I couldn't remember the last time I spoke to my husband I demanded to let me use my phone witch had everything deleted from the last week or so..I called and called and he kept forwarding my calls then he finally texted and said( just let me be you made your choice and I need to get over you and I can't with you calling me)...I was so confused then some of the things started to come back my female therapist doing coke infront of me while hitting on me telling me to use my husband to get everything possible from him before leaving him!! The hypnotized trauma therapy the manipulate and courting/grooming while highly medicated i found out the male patient that I was involved with frauded my husband's bank card. Apparently I called my husband 5-6 days prior and told him he was a narcissistic pos and was feeding me drugs and was the reason for my addiction..and was leaving him..well as I'm writing this 6 months later I am home with my husband my relationship is fragile at best as I said things to him that hurt him bad not to mention the infidelity... I thank God that he took me back after this I still don't remember alot that went on there witch is probably a trauma reaction in itself alls I know is this is a place of horror not a rehab now that my feelings have come back I've been so messed up and suicidal at times I literally cry almost everyday I'm so confused as to what exactly happened I know I'm a faithful woman I wouldn't cheat on my man in a million years I didn't for over 10years of our relationship until this happened.. it's hard to except that I did something that I hardly remember and have to go thru devastated my husband to the point he hardly goes to work now he's depressed and is a change person and so hurt it hurts me so bad to see him like this and he dosen't understand what happened just as much as me I love him so much and I know for a fact that something happened to me there that caused this idk what exactly surely a combination of the things I mentioned but I 1000% hold them accountable..I am broken

Accepted Insurance

Bella Monte Recovery Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Equine therapy, aka equine-assisted therapy (EAT), is a form of experiential therapy that involves interactions and activities with horses. It does not necessarily involve riding horses, but all activities related to horses, such as feeding, grooming, haltering and leading them. A mental health professional frequently oversees the activities (often in conjunction with a horse professional), and helps patients process their thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns during and/or after the interaction.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

The use of experiential therapy can be helpful for the treatment of behavioral disorders, including drug and alcohol addiction. This method teaches you how to release negative emotions and cope with pain from the past. Activities such as art, music, and animal care are used to facilitate this process.

The goal of nicotine replacement therapy in California is to mitigate the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. It cuts down on your cravings by supplying a small dose of nicotine without exposing your body to the toxins of cigarette smoke.

Bella Monte is a special place where you heal with the help of caring and highly trained professionals. The staff is remarkable - their empathy and kindness coupled with an array of amazing therapeutic protocol and combined with the resort-like ambience of the facility all add to create a special (almost magical) refuge for the client suffering from substance abuse. I cannot recommend Bella Monte more highly. I was on the precipice and the Bella Monte staff healed me with therapeutic tools and classes, amazing healthcare and diet options, and the fount of ever flowing kindness and empathy. I feel so lucky I choose Bella Monte - again, I cannot recommend it enough.

This place saved my life. Everyone there is like family. The counselor/therapists really help you find out why are using in the first place. The groups are usually pretty in depth as well. Not your typical, triggers and coping skills groups so that s good. The techs are awesome as well. I know a few people recently stopped working there so it probably isn t running as smoothly, but still it s the best place for u or a loved one! Love these guys so much!

Recovery is based on trust this place gives none. Consider yourself lucky if the doctor even considers you a number. Much more than I received. Been here 3 weeks still haven't seen A doctor.. The staff have sticky fingers, they Steal cashmere sweaters.. What's worse is they protect their own. No reimbursement nothing. Swept under the rug With "I'll put it in an email". Still have no clue who my counselor or director is. The grievance form is 1/3 of a page cut with left handed scissors, Absolutely horrific and insulting. You can tell them till you're blue in the face that your dog is renal and can not take people food. It's irrelevant if it kills your dog they do what they want they don't care. Good luck getting your meds even for something like advil Tylenol or ibuprofen. You will be denied even if it's been more than 12 hours since you last took it. Quite frankly they don't care about you or your health they're just running through the motions. It's sick it's such a disappointment. I came here with the highest hopes and opened up my door of trust only to have this treatment listed above. I've never felt so disappointed or so let down so hurt and felt betrayed like I do here. It's repugnant that I even have to give one star to far more than they deserve.

Simply put, Bella Monte gave me my life back. Between my opiate addiction and truly horrible behavioral and personality problems I got to BMRC a totally mess. You may feel that your substance abuse issue is your only problem for seeking treatment. I can tell you that not being a happy person is your true issue. Between group therapy , individual therapy and your peers you can acquire the necessary tools to not only achieve happiness but also control your substance abuse problem. The Staff are the most compassionate people I ve ever met.these people do not go to work for the money. Their lives are dedicated to helping addicts to find happiness and a joy for living. If you enter treatment BMRC and really give your self over to their program you will succeed. If I could give it a million stars I would. Rob R.Well I am now 25 months clean and living my best life thanks to BMRC. I am so impressed with the work they do that I have been volunteering there for 18 months. sharing my Experience, Strength and Hope with all the new clients. If you or a loved one is struggling with r the disease of addiction, you could not find a more loving and caring environment for them to get clean.

Amazing staff, wonderful facility and incredible approach to recovery. The staff here have helped me reach what I thought was impossible to become, sober. I felt safe, and secure while staying there and the staff was impeccable. The counselors and techs were very trustworthy and supportive, which is wonderful when ones so vulnerable. If you're struggling with addiction and need to get to the core of the issue and have no where else to go, come to this place, it saved my life.
