About BAART Programs Sun Valley

BAART Programs Sun Valley (Narcotic Addiction Treatment Agency) is an opioid recovery center in Sun Valley, California. They provide outpatient treatments for opioid use disorder. This includes but is not limited to fentanyl, heroin and prescription opioid pain medications. Their recovery operation helps residents of Sun Valley and surrounding areas overcome opioid addiction and rebuild their lives. Coordinated treatment is available for pregnant women.

You can also access guest medication services in this facility when away from your regular clinic. It’s especially great that they accept Medi-Cal, Medicare and most private insurance plans. They’re also part of the VA Community Care Network through Optum and TriWest, so they can provide services to veterans outside the VA system. They even provide transportation for Medi-Cal patients based on plan.

Their specialty is medication assisted treatment. This recovery technique uses FDA approved medicine and counseling to treat substance use disorders. Their medication assisted treatment program uses methadone to manage withdrawal. Methadone minimizes withdrawal symptoms and curbs cravings. That way, you can undergo counseling and other therapeutic activities.

The facility primarily offers individual counseling which involves a one-on-one session with your therapist. This helps you address personal challenges fueling your opioid use, set realistic recovery goals and develop coping strategies necessary for lasting recovery.

The facility boasts an expert care team committed to delivering personalized methadone treatment. They’re CARF accredited. This means they satisfy the highest standards for quality care.

Their comprehensive outpatient program involves medical assessment and case management as well as addiction and relapse prevention education. They also offer discharge planning, ongoing support and referral to community services such as homelessness assistance.

Comments from past clients indicate that the overall quality of care is impressive. One client stated, “Best clinic ever. They saved my life.”

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established in 1992 by congress, SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on American's communities.

Ima be Real With You All!As Much as I Enjoyed the people that go here and mostly all there workers.I Actually Went down hill when i went here.Had take homes, so only use to go Mon&Fri. and they took them away.i never tested dirty or shared or gave my take homes to anyone. Nope it was cause for losing my Home and being down on my luck. And instead of them being true Human beings that really do care for the patient they took them away and said i had to wait a month again and they can give me one by one.So instead of them taking one they took all. So what happened that same night i used drugs and have not been clean since.this was 3 years ago.i remember trying to fight for them cause thats something i earned.and this counselor and my counselor pulled up this book and i swear were looking for reasons why not to give them back. When i saw both of them reading page after page. I couldn't believe it.They could have said "you know what, we are gonna help you get them backCause you heen clean you earned them.Shame on You

THIS PLACE SAVED MY LIFE...but you know this place is really going down the shi**er ever since Christie sold this place ! You need to make sure your containers seal properly so my 2 weeks worth of dose dosnt spill all over my box and then your staff refuses to refill the ones that spilled...I'm not some freaking crack head for you to brush off by threatening my take home privlage. Have some humanity and correct your own mistakes......they did they did correct well thanks for buying the sealer now my medication won't spill that's why I added stars to the review

If I could leave zero stars I would!!!IF YOU ARE GENUINELY TRYING TO GET CLEAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!You have better chances of getting clean your own then with these people that s how terrible they are.The staff doesn t even listen to your concerns they just brush you off and give you what they want to give you.I honestly wouldn t doubt the staff gets high with the patients.I will be looking into reporting Baart and hopefully they do a full investigation on this terrible company
