The therapist always late and ill prepared. Vicky Passes always tired and it only got worse not better. Today she was 9 minutes late and seems so scattered and told me I look tired when I wasn't and I said you look tired and she said oh I am. LOL lots of projection by this therapist and today she had a meltdown ending session about 15 minutes in to it.I sure wouldn't recommend. Also Beware of Lyndee Venosta the owner something is wrong with her. I had to report her to my insurance Co and others. Please read LBs review. I wish I had read it before. Beware something is really wrong with that woman.

Well my issue with this place is that Vivian Rodriguez the clinical director saw my daughter for therapy and failed to report things that my daughter brought up to her, I hope she knows that now that she is doing therapy she is a mandated reporter. She also refused to return the call to my 730 evaluator and I just found out she is seeing my other daughter. When I tried to talked to her and left a message of course no response. I would encourage everyone that tries to bring their kids here to do their research because this place seems like they will just tell you what you want to listen instead of helping you.

Accepted Insurance

Avery Centre works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

monthly iconMonthly

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Mrs. Sheena Henderson is an excellent therapist. She treated my son who is 14 years old and is on the Spectrum side .During the two years we were with her, she helped my son with his anxiety, sensory, and behavior challenges. Unfortunately we were not able to keep her because we moved to the OC area and our insurance changed.Otherwise we would still be receiving Mrs. Henderson services. Sheena is very professional and caring.Mrs. Henderson also treated my 8 year old daughter for a few months. My daughter was having a difficult time understanding my son's behavior and Sheena offered to work with her very closely, and helped her understand my son's challenges. Our family misses Mrs. Henderson very much. She became more than a therapist, she became part of our family. If you need a loving, professional and caring person like Mrs. Henderson please do not hesitate to reach out to to her.

Big labels place. Spent $500.00 in two lousy sessions. While just getting their personnel learn from me! You have choices and mental health is very important! Do your homework well before setting. All the best!

I trusted my son with this place. He saw Sheena Henderson, a child therapist at this facility. Sheena is one of the most disheveled, disorganized and unprofessional people I ve ever encountered. We had our appt canceled on us 2x without notice... Once bc another client had the same initials as my son (???) and the other was our first appt, that was canceled over insurance I was clear was not a concern for me. Both times we were made to wait in the lobby for first 30, then 20 minutes until I reached out to her to figure out what was going on.They had 5 scheduled appointments together total. In other words, she botched 2 of those 5.Additionally, I was "fortunate" enough to be seen as a patient by this business's owner: Lyndee Venosta. I thought it was going well for a while, especially given her I will help you and we will get through this together pep talks... But be sure not to "trigger" this woman, as I somehow managed to! That is, if you are a mind reader or can guess what her triggers might be.... Or prepare to be verbally eviscerated, accused of *presumed* falsehoods and excused from your appointment. By far and away *the* most hostile and debasing appointment in my tenure as a therapy patient. When you have to ask your TRAUMA "therapist" to adjust their tone of voice *multiple* times? (I lost count after 4) There's a problem. What's funny is- I'm a good person. And a good mom. I have trauma, obviously, but this "therapist" is in the wrong business if she believes treating a trauma patient (or *any* patient for that matter) with such hostility was or is *ever* ok.And, more importantly? IF SHE CANNOT KEEP HER OWN TRIGGERS IN CHECK.We both left "worse" than when we started 2 months back. Thankfully, we were spared any further waste of time (and I am sure what would have been thousands of dollars), when the business owner couldn't even own up to her employee's negligence (where, the appointment delays ended up being the least of our problems)... and excused me as a patient based off what happened with *my son's* treatment. Via an email. At midnight.Suddenly, I was "out of her scope of expertise"... Fascinating, no?Buyer beware. I would not trust them as far as I could throw them with anyone's mental health. And buyer is certainly an appropriate term, as they are only providers for two obscure insurances companies and each appt is $130-$150 cash out of pocket. To Lyndee, the business owner: You sure picked a *great* profession to never have to accept accountability, didn t you?And with only 7 years experience, no less. I don t see that advertised much on your site. Opening your own practice was a power play. Not saying it was not an effective one, but you ve only been open 7 years...(?)You also shared that I was not the first patient you have had to excuse based off YOUR triggers ? That is a bit of a choppy track record, imho. But the only thing that s worse is the experience provided your patients in your moments of absolute selfishness, defensiveness and in your oops of cracked-veneered unprofessionalism.... in their moment of need.It is maybe something for others to consider when looking for a SAFE place to land with their mental health. If you want a therapist that will put YOU before protecting her own employees negligence, a therapist that will keep promises, and last, a therapist that can KEEP HERSELF IN CHECK AGAINST UNSUSPECTING PATIENTS.... This is not the office for you.
