Very professional, From the front desk and the back team. The staff really cares about you and takes the time to understand what you're going through. Even though it is a group type setting the Therapist is very throughly with each client and the lessons are easy to understand. It is a very welcoming environment especially to anyone who's nervous or anxious about therapy. They make the enrollment process smooth. And I love the pet therapy sessions!

I really learned a lot from going to Aspire, like take 1 step at a time daily for myself. How to not overwhelm myself by using the tools you are given. The learning was challenging at times, however, with the help of the great Counselors there, I made it through. The different methods of learning is excellent. Art, animals, yoga and lessons. You get out of it what you put into it. If you are struggling with depression or any other mental illness I would give them a try. It is worth it. You matter!

Accepted Insurance

Aspire Counseling Services – Fresno works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Programs

military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

Every day I get to visit Aspire is a delightful challenge. The staff are caring and attentive, the lessons are designed to promote deep thought, and the conversations with my group members have been eye opening. Having a safe space to process my trauma has kept my family together and myself alive. (Aspire staff: Thank you for all that you do every day for your clients!)

Thank you, Steven, for sharing your positive reflections. We're honored to contribute to creating a supportive environment for everyone.

Tommy was my main counselor. He was awsome. Tommy, Laura, Destiny, Deborah and Brittney all helped with my struggles and were very caring. They know what they are doing there. I also got to meet Mellissa and she was very helpful after my counseling was over. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to go to Aspire. I'm still sober today using the tools I've learned there.

The most caring outpatient I ve attended by far. Budget isn t too grand cause they don t churn out people based on a grant time limit so facility is a bit small but please do not reconsider just cause they don t have as many cheap sofas and neutral toned wall paint as other places.

the staff seem like they only are concerned about money not client needs. The director was extremely rude and negative. I don t recommend wasting your time here. They are inconsistent and unorganized. Spend your money and choice in recovery with a team that will support you in recovery thats not Aspire!

the process is very slow, but if you seriously trust the process and the team.. it s so amazing. i ve learned so much about myself and coping skills i thought would never work. i tried so many different ones and nothing worked until you find yourself talking to one of the therapists joking around and you suddenly found one! it was a great experience but it wasn t all happy and giggles. there s a lot of cries and feeling mad and upset. but that s the point is feeling and expressing your emotions because female or male, everyone s important. i m grateful i went through all my issue s because it led me to aspire. i miss the staff and always think about what i learned there everyday. but i hope i m strong enough to never go back! i hope everyone gets the experience i had. go aspire!!!
