My visit to Aisha and Dr kebede and Aurima, is always on point, they always make sure that I'm getting everything I need especially Aisha and Aurima my sike doctor, thanks for helping me and allowing me to be on the team.
This is the hospital that shut down a whole floor for Jay Z and Beyonce. Jay z gave them 1.3M. Many babies were born that day not just Blue Ivy. Father's couldn't see their children being born and they couldn't see them in the NICU either. The hospital accepted and allowed it. Babies died ,never seeing their fathers and vice versa. Diddy will get them if they sue tho!! GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR MEDICAL NEEDS THEY WILL NEGLECT YOU!!
RN Evelyn HernandezI just gave birth at MSW this past weekend and there were a few physicians assistants that were rude. Perhaps 2 out of the 10 nurses were also rude, but the positives definitely outshone the negatives.Evelyn Hernandez in postpartum was an absolute angel in disguise. She did everything in her power to treat us like a family member would. I never had someone care for me that way and she was like a mother to me in key moments. She lovingly called me "Ann" and helped me take care of my baby and my boyfriend. We are first time parents and that was terrifying enough.Doctor Harris was the OBGYN attending who delivered my baby via emergency C-section. She absolutely did not push anything on me and only when things got dangerous she spoke to me about necessary interventions. Things got really scary in the operating room but everyone there was on top of their game. This includes all nurses, and the anesthesiologist.I delivered on a slow day, so afterwards I got my own room on the newest wing in Labor & Delivery. It was gorgeous...has a recliner that reclines all the way back and a couch that folds to a full bed.Every 4 hours they checked in with all my medications and all the RNs in labor and delivery were very professional. There are those choice few nurses who need their bedside manner improved and can be a little more understanding and helpful. For example, I just came out of a c section at 2AM and I asked the nurse to help me change and feed baby... She said she wants us to do it ourselves... It was a harsh and very uncaring but after that I only had angels and I only seen that other night shift RN on one more night. I knew not to ask her for anything and just knew that she wouldn't be helpful in comparison to Evelyn, and Carmela and Aziza.I think the one star reviews are from people who had to share a postpartum room due to overcrowding and probably, unfortunately, ran into those few "choice" nurses I mentioned.I would also like to thank Joanne the license social worker. She told us we can tell people to hang a do not disturb sign and we can rest. Joanne chatted with us for a very long time. You can tell she is passionate about social work and is very stern, insightful and kind.xBut overall great experience. And I am grateful for everyone who was kind and understanding to me, my baby and my boyfriend.
