I felt the empathy, compassion and care I was going to receive here. Located in the in the outer Hollister area, The facility has a great open space were there is plenty of space to walk around and stretch your feet. I never felt trapped or suffocate, and most importantly , alone or abandoned. If you have any medical needs, urgent care or Mental anguish they will provide services and even take you to the clinic/hospital. Also very helpful with filling out documents. With a healthy maximum of 12 people any given time, the attention you need is well provide. this facility is co-ed The staff is compiled with a variety of professionals, therapist and counselor that are not only highly skilled and qualified in their field but are experienced with substance abuse and mental health. Medication is well distributed, monitored and supervised by doctors and nurses. 24 hr around the clock staff is willing to help and cater to any needs you may have. Store runs and family visitations weekly. A great variety of classes and activities scheduled daily. phone calls allowed after a 5 day blackout period for several minutes. Breakfast , lunch and dinner provide Monday through Friday; Facility always is well stocked with plenty of food.Take out is provided on the weekends. Andres M 3 days ago The team at Bright Future were professional and thorough from the first phone calls inquiring about the facility, intake process, what to expect, and check-in, through the detox phase, explaining the process, communicating progress to the very end of what to expect after the 30 program. I was uncomfortable with some of the facilities we had looked into and were very happy with this choice and would recommend their program and facility to others looking for a safe and effective program with a welcoming environment and team. Well rounded activities and recovery work. I believe I brought home someone with the tools to be successful in their sobriety after years of alcohol addiction, and tools to establish boundaries and a healthy life for themselves. Obviously anyone that first goes to rehab isn’t happy with their situation but in just two short months he was a changed person. The work they have them do on themselves got him to finally see why drugs and alcohol are no way of life. He’s finally sober and actually enjoying it! This rehab helped him so much he actually chose to stay LONGER, and I am for once excited for what the future can bring. My body was failing and mental state was terrible. Every part of the program touches on every aspect of the addicts life. You’re talking to people who have lived it and come out the other side. That shows in the way they listen, the way they talk to you, and the patience and compassion they bring every day. I came here severely addicted and further traumatized by what I put myself and my family through. I needed a place where I would be treated with dignity, individually recognized for what has been ailing me and personally encouraged. This what I found here, and with a genuine compassion I have never seen or felt as an addict. There is an exceptional quality here, from checkng-in through medical treatment, group processing, education, abundance of nutrition, therapy excercise, wellness and technical assistance. With a maximum of five other clients to go through the recovery process with, the Directors of the program and even the CEO rolled up their sleeves personally caring for my recovery process. For the first time in my life since I was introduced to substances I don't hate life without them. It has been almost five months since I left wellness Retreat and I still go back on Monday afternoons to join the dance classes that gave me so much hope and happiness when I was feeling so low and dark in the beginning. Once medically stable in the hospital, he was discharged to Mission Oaks for therapy with the goal to get his independence back in his home. There are 15 beds in the unit. Consider yourself very fortunate if you or your loved one gets admitted. This facility is top notch. The staff here are professional, caring, hardworking, and exceptional at what they do. The vast majority have been here for many, many years. It's not a revolving door. They are proud of what they have created. It's the culture here. Relearning to walk (PT), grab a cup (OT), or swallow for that matter (Speech Therapy), doesn't just happen. It requires hard work by both the patient and the staff. Nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital call this place "Boot Camp". From what I have learned, rehab is most effective when started soon after a stroke. Because of this, the therapists push to get the most out of the patients when they are here. I wish I could name everyone who has helped us. It would be the entire staff. I started noting individual names, but after I hit the 20 mark, I figured I would miss someone who definitely deserved credit. Expect several hours of various types of therapy per day. Filling in the gaps are a dedicated team of nurses that make sure your loved one vitals are tracked and correct medicine administered. The nurses all are friendly and care about you or your loved one. My father at 78 years of age came here unable to walk on his own or use his left hand. Two weeks later, he's walking and using his hand. He now has the ability and confidence to get back to living a life of independence. He will have some care initially, but the goal is to minimize the amount of care he gets over time. They have a care coordinator and social worker here on the floor that will actively work out a plan for you and/or loved one. I have heard horror stories about other facilities in the area.
