This review is regarding 3 incredible doctors that I d like to acknowledge, not necessarily the hospital as an entity. Dr Gronski (pulmonologist) and Dr Ghafoor (heart failure specialist) are rare gems that actually invest time in educating patients while communicating clearly. If I were dying, I d trust them with my life, and I am confident in their care of my loved one.Lastly, Dr Husain (infectious disease) recently consulted on a case of a dying friend as a 2nd opinion. He communicated clearly the unfortunate diagnosis, therefore eliminating any false hope which helped us prepare accordingly. Prior to him joining the case we had no clue how dire the situation was, so his honestly and transparency was deeply appreciated. I m a huge fan of not sugar coating, and that s seemingly a rare quality these days. Kudos to the real ones out there who are truth tellers despite how painful it may be to hear. All 3 of these doctors have left lasting impressions for which I am truly grateful for. Perhaps they can teach Grafton some lessons in effective management and care.
