We love the VA Hospital! Simply amazing people who are truly caring and compassionate. They treat everyone with the utmost respect!

Nursing staff on cardiac floor was fantastic! RNs were always available and pleasant. CNAs were equally as helpful. Nursing staff in EP and recovery were jovial and let me feel at ease. My electrical physiologist prepared me well for the procedure and did thorough follow up. Hospitalist was also helpful, accommodating, and personable. The one thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars was dietary. Food was bland and limited choices for cardiac patients

My doctor, Dr. kellum is the best doctor who really listens to how your feeling and actually listens to how what your exactly saying and who believes in you. And the front office staff are the best in my opinion. Always very helpful and friendly. Not once have I got an attitude from any of them at new start. Thank you.

If you are genuinely searching for help to recover from addiction, go elsewhere else, please. They don't care about helping you or making things easier for you. Go somewhere where you'll be appreciated for being a human being and not just for your money.

EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, but more importantly they DID THEIR JOB

This place is beautiful and whole. You will find medical, dental, vision, pharmacy & fitness center with a pool. Where else can you find that? People are super nice!

I love this organization, the location I visit has a chapel for anyone, it's a beautiful little room to pray or just meditate. They have a food pantry and free community meals are served seven days a week. It's a good place for those in need of nutrition, money help in dire situations, and those people staffing the offices are understanding persons. They never look down on people who need help, no matter the reason.

My therapist Julia has made such a significant impact on my healing. She has helped me in humanizing my emotions to my trauma. Without judgment, she has brought to me self-awareness of how I can make positive changes to build upon my strengths. Seeking mental help has changed my life. A big thanks to Julia for supporting my in journey to healing.

Very loving care!

I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience.The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

As a social worker in the community who has regular interaction with Journey- specifically Crisis- the responsiveness and follow through is wonderful. I had a situation where I was uncomfortable attending to an individual alone. I called Crisis and was able to speak with and have a Crisis Worker who is familiar with the individual accompany me to the home visit. Having an additional person with me, we were able to accurately judge and come to agreement for the safety of the person- that he did not need hospitalization, but rather needed additional support and time to be listened to. My thought is this: Sometimes the greater structure of the system is the issue, and not the resources in the community that have to follow those structures in order to help. I am grateful for Journey!
