Five fresh made pastas every day and delicious house made bread are more than enough to make this restaurant special! The nightly fresh fish was halibut (sourced whole and cut to order) which I had prepared Livornese style (one of 12 options) which came as a very generous portion covered in tomatos, olives and capers, with fresh pasta and a beautiful salad. Very likely the best Italian wine list in Florida;

This was my 2nd visit and extremely disappointed! We had raved about the food and restaurant to our family after having great dinner several months ago with friends. Tonight was terrible from being placed in a dark corner we had to ask twice to be moved after the owner brought a head flashlight over. Really!? Common sense would say when you have plenty of tables available just move the customer. We ordered wine asked some questions about the menu that were answered and watched others who came in after us get served. No one came to take our order. We had out of town family visiting and were embarrassed at the lack of service. After waiting what felt like an odyssey we requested the check paid for our wine and left. On way out the owner tried to tell us we would not give our order. Really? Could not be further from the truth. Can t give an order if they don t come to your table. We drove 30 miles why would we not order? The owner was so arrogant! Even bragged how been in business 50 years. Well customers are the reason to be in business this restaurant lost 4 tonight. He can keep his stuck-up over priced arrogant establishment. We deserve respect and will not waste another time there ever again!

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This is not my review but one I came across on another webpage. I m sharing it here because it paints a vivid picture of what seems to be a recurring issue with this establishment.Last night, I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life so bizarre it feels almost exaggerated, but it s entirely true. For context, I m a professional chef with 17 years in the restaurant industry, including time in Michelin-starred establishments. I was visiting Jacksonville and decided to try this restaurant, but the evening spiraled into an outrageous ordeal. We started with cappelletti with bolognese, followed by two mains: spaghettini al tonno and chicken boscaiola. The cappelletti was severely underseasoned the dough, filling, and sauce all lacked salt. When we pointed this out to our server, he simply brought us another salt shaker (despite one already being on the table) and walked away. The menu states, If you encounter an issue with the quality or preparation of your meal, please advise us immediately so we can take appropriate action. However, no action was taken, and we weren t offered a replacement or any alternative.Later, when we received our bill, we noticed a package on the table containing the uneaten cappelletti. The server claimed it couldn t be removed from the bill because there was nothing wrong with it. After some back-and-forth, he fetched the chef, who was initially at another table loudly discussing food preparation (while cursing). When he came over, he was visibly upset and immediately combative. He insisted nothing was wrong with the dish, talked about his 40 years of experience, and dismissed our concerns outright. As a fellow industry professional, I calmly explained that the way the issue had been handled was not up to standard. Instead of addressing the feedback constructively, the chef launched into a tirade about how we were wrong and refused to remove the item from the bill. When we said we d dispute the charge if necessary, he demanded cash payment and, when we explained we didn t have cash, threatened to call the police. The situation escalated: the chef locked the front door, cursed about us to his staff, and had the server repeatedly hover around, making antagonistic comments like, You just don t add salt to pasta. The chef even placed a boot on our car, which the police later confirmed was unlawful. When the police arrived, we explained we were willing to pay with a card, but the owner refused to accept anything other than cash or a recorded statement that we wouldn t dispute the charge both unreasonable demands. After nearly an hour of negotiation, the police told the owner he had to accept the card payment or let us leave. Begrudgingly, he processed the card but continued to photograph us and our vehicle.Unfortunately, after researching the owner, I ve learned this isn t an isolated incident. He has a history of hostility toward guests, an unwillingness to accept feedback, and a general air of arrogance. This restaurant s rules-heavy approach, coupled with the owner s behavior, creates an unwelcoming and combative environment. It s a shame because the potential is there, but the owner s attitude and practices make it impossible to recommend this establishment to anyone.

Atmosphere is great but the service in unbelievable, we went to this restaurant for my mothers birthday and it was an expensive restaurant but since we dont have a super nice car nor a super great condition they put a sign on our car saying "DO NOT PARK HERE OR ELSE YOUR CAR WILL GET TOWED" and we went back inside to ask what the sign was about but then they said its not their fault and that the car looked bad so it they assumed and didnt get single sorry or apologize. Absolutely horrible service.

Fraudulent posting. Never happened. Pathetic that someone spends their time making up false stories about a small local business.

Wow! What a ln amazing place. We can't wait to go back and try other menu items. I don't know how anyone can rate this place anything other than 5. I had the Bolongnese and my husband had the Veal and both dishes melted in our mouths. I could taste the hint of wine in every bite. It was absolutely delicious. This fine establishment doesn't drown their food with SALT. You actually taste what it should taste like if that makes sense. I haven't been out to a real Italian restaurant in a long time. It's just been too disappointing and expensive but ALAS, we found one through a recommendation of a friend who loves great food. Thank you Candyce! We will be back.

Went with friends. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They had a large party that same time and even with the unusual large crowd our food was still served hot and in a very timely manner.

When we visit Jacksonville, this is always on our list. The pasta is outstanding accompanied by their wide variety of Mediterranean dishes with veal, chicken and more. The bread is fresh and you are certain to be sent home with a loaf. Dishes with pasta are generous portions. It's not likely you'll finish, but that's the best part, you can reheat and enjoy again the next day!We love the escargot appetizer, again generous portion easily shared with 3 people. Their wine selection is fairly priced unlike so many high-end restaurants.Peaceful dining, where you can carry on a conversation and not be "entertained" by the table 10 feet away. It's the way a restaurant should be, not noisy, no loud music, no clanging dishes. I would give LaCena 10 stars if I could.Kid-friendliness: No children allowed, adult only dining. This makes for the serene setting for couples and business meals.

We enjoyed one of the better meals we've had in a long time tonight at La Cena in Murray Hill. Given that Jacksonville s food scene doesn't always leave a lasting impression on me, finding a gem like this is nice. We had a great experience, and the dishes were well-executed.We started with beef carpaccio as an appetizer. I've tasted carpaccio across the globe, but this one stood out as one of the better ones I've had. For our mains, my husband went for the veal scaloppine parmigiana, while I indulged in the trenette alla Juilianna which came with shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes in a light creamy sauce. Both dishes were delicious, with the pasta made from scratch in-house.They also served us crusty bread with salted butter which was lovely. The shrimp in my pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was excellent - rich but not too heavy. Our meals came with salads; I had a Caesar that was perfectly good but nothing memorable. My husband chose the house salad with a lovely vinaigrette which I would opt for next time. Although I ordered a small pasta, the portions were generous, and we were too full to even think about dessert. All in all, I d rate La Cena a solid 90/100 for the Jacksonville dining scene. It s a place worth remembering and definitely worth a return visit!

This ristorante was highly recommended. No children or heavy perfume allowed. Make sure you make a reservation. The veal marsala, fish florentino, green peppercorn steak were delicious. From the reviews we expected more attentive service. The profiterolis and cannoli were delicious. They serve very good expresso.
