This is a sufficient veterans hospital with all necessary doctors for our needs. Some veterans don't appreciate it because they may be unaware of what is offered by the VA. If the time is taken and you become knowledgeable of its services, you can find the what you need from a VA. I worked in one of the bigger VAs located in Pittsburgh. I had all of my needs met once I became aware of what they offered.

Medmark most definitely saved my life. When the doctor decided he wasn't giving me my pain medicine any longer because he didn't want to get in trouble (this was 2019) and I didn't know what to do since I have chronic pain from several severe bone breaks. So I called medmark and on my first day of treatment I wasn't worried anymore. I've been going here for over 5 years almost 6 now and they have never made me feel bad for anything they have been nothing but caring and supportive. I really thlnk they have saved my life and lots of other lives as well.

i would never go to any clinic acadia owns ever again. i have a clinic 2 minutes down the road from my house and that clinic was a nightmare. me and my husband drive 2 hours to this clinic just so we dont have to go to clarksburg treatment center.

I was traveling through the area when a sudden (and very painful) medical issue came up. I’m a veteran but hadn’t yet signed up for VA care, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked into the ER—honestly, my expectations were low. But wow, was I surprised.
From check-in to triage to treatment, the entire experience was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and efficient. I was ambulatory (just in a lot of pain) and they treated me very promptly. The doctor quickly diagnosed the issue, got me into radiology, and I had answers fast. I was on my way with relief and a plan.
Truly blown away by the level of service and compassion. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of veterans. I hope someone in leadership sees this…they all deserve recognition (and a raise!).

Can’t say that I have ever had a pleasurable experience in an emergency room but Beckley VA Medical Center came quite close. HUGE shoutout to Dr. Pisupati, Debbie Hull, and all of the midnight staff who went above and beyond last night for Kenny. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, compassion, and kindness. Dr. even took the time to track me down trying to nap in the truck to make sure I understood everything they had ruled out. MUCH LOVE FOR THESE FOLKS, THANK YOU!!!! SROs truly gave me a safe friendly environment to grow in my recovery.. it's a drug free environment with friendly management and staff.. that holds me accountable with random drug screens which Im happy to take. Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. I have been in treatment since August 7 2023 and I love the nurses and the counselors they are the best especially my counselor she is very easy to talk to. I disliked this place at first. I had trouble getting appointments and medicine refills. Now though, they got better. Some say the staff is rude, but they are really overworked. The staff nice once you get to know them, and to be honest. Many of the patients I see in the place seem way more rude.

I guest dosed here for 3 day's straight because me and my bf had to go to WV from NC for his aunt's funeral unfortunately. We had absolutely no problem's at all, they were all polite each day and honestly, the dosing nurse's were nicer AND faster then the one's at our clinic we go to everyday here in NC!

Best IOP program , they provided my transportation to and from, the drivers Terry, Stephanie and Jacob, and Billy were always respectful. THE IOP program ran by Ellisha Seabolt(peer) and Rudy Drummon (therapist)are just amazing, so helpful, fair, and knowledgeable. They too are in recovery, which helps you feel that more comfortable and you can be completely open and honest with absolutely no judgement. St. Joseph's Recovery Center holds a special place in my heart. I once was a client here myself 4 years ago, and now I work here as a Peer Support Specialist. Most of the staff here and in recovery themselves so the clients can really relate to them. The team I work with is ore like family than coworkers. Upper management truly cares about us staff and listens to our suggestions or input. I received really good care from the nurses and employees while I was in ST MARY'S HOSPITAL, The day I was released I wasn't completely cured yet, but I was given the medications to use in addition to the medical advice that will make me better.
I am still recovering taking the medication and it will be some time soon for me to get back to normal.
