There is nothing negative I can say about this place. There are always going to be bad reviews and good reviews. Most bad reviews are probably exacerbated in this kind of environment. These environments are extremely difficult to work in from a councilors perspective. From a patients perspective not only at this center but multiple others unfortunately. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have worked with multiple employees and for the most part. I can't complain about anything. I have been fortunate enough to be assigned to work with one of the best councilors. I don't usually name drop named but Carrie A is a God sent. I have worked with various counselors. However as far as acknowledging, caring, understand, providing resources, validating, relating, ECT... ECT... ECT... It has been nothing but a huge blessing to have someone like Carrie in my recovery corner. My recovery path hasn't been easy and I'm still working on things. Im still climbing the uphill path to recovery. I still have a way ahead of me. However I'm not falling as much. I'm now learning to rest and keep going. I didn't get here overnight. This has been a lot my time coming for me since I was about twelve years old when I started in my addiction. Now after being in the worst situation I have ever been in since I started. I'm finally in a better place and on track with the right direction then I have ever been. Especially with ith the ongoing support and direction.I haven't reached all of my goals but as far as so sobriety goes. It's night and day. Yes I'm putting the work in. However when you have someone who back you up and hasn't given up on you because of the holistic understand and experience In addition and mental health that correlates with it. Means more then anyone who just only has an education. not to say a education doesn't matter. However with only an education. I can only say based off my experience only a small percentage are able to stay in these jobs and are able to relate and help others so long and successfully. In this environment the ones who have the experience, maintain soberity, and are willing to help others succeed. In my book are valued as having at least a bachelors degree in this field. The ones who have the experience, maintain soberity, and are willing to help others succeed, with a bachelors are valued as having a masters in this field. A doctorate is rare and if so being able to relate with one might be a little disconnected. These are just my options.Anyway thank you another chance and a huge thank you to Carrie A.Matthew

Where to being. Treehouse is the very first place that comes to mind when I think about where I would send a loved one struggling. I went through PDX and it absolutely gave me a foundation to actually build a life. The program design, team, staff, culture allowed me to get to a place of healing that had eluded me for years. I ve been to 15-20 rehabs in my journey. Detoxes, inpatient , outpatient, Salvation Army, the million dollar mansions in SoCal, and every SUD/ PTSD program the VA has- but none of them got CLOSE to getting me to the place that treehouse has. I am truly grateful for life I live today and I owe a tremendous amount of thanks to Treehouse as a whole#PDX

They've been so helpful for a very long time, it's a shame that they're being overrun by a crowd of problematic people, because I can't always be safe in the waiting room without some sort of drama, some of which is dangerous, I have even caught strep from this waiting room. When outside, there's people sitting on the ground and blocking the way, also panhandlers, you can't sit in the car with the window down without being asked for stuff repeatedly. The road up to it isn't much better, the same people are ruining the garbage cans and are throwing glass on the ground, which is actually really bad for my wheelchair, at one point there was fecal matter all around the entrance in such a way I couldn't go around it, and it had stunk up the entire waiting room. The service I've received here is absolutely fantastic, and I get treated like a breath of fresh air, but people aren't treating the service with a lot of respect, so I'm afraid that it'll go away, or that my doctor will burn out and quit and then end up with a bad one.

1000x better than allied, been here since 2020 and was at allied for 6 years before that. People and councilors will tell you that this place is a "Juice Bar" but what that actually means is that you can balance being an everyday patient while working a job and living a life. You will NEVER I repeat NEVER be stuck here for 2-6 hours because some councilor wants to punish you for missing your groups or appointments. All services are offered here if you want them, you aren't forced to do them. You'll never wait more than 15 minutes to be dosed, and it's all about recovery at your own pace because we all know it's all about how badly an addict wants to get clean. No amount of weekly allied groups, bottle returns, dose holds and forced counseling sessions makes you more clean or less of an addict. So dont let that discourage you from easier more accessible treatment. You do it when the time comes. They even offer alternative treatment like acupuncture, and they test for Hep-C. All I ever got from allied was lost jobs and time wasted being jerked around jumping through hoops just to be able to get my dose.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me.I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go.I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas. But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are.I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.
