Drug Rehab Centers in Long Beach, Washington

This is hands down the best rehabilitation and recovery place in all of Washington state!!!! I went through their program and they not only gave me the tools to fight my alcoholism but they also focused on me as a person and my life. They helped me to identify the "Why?" I was drinking through outstanding counselors and very informative group sessions. I was able to identify and make plans to correct the areas of my life that either directly or indirectly affected my ability to stay sober. All of the staff are very friendly, understanding, caring, and knowledgeable people. They make make you feel very welcome and go out of their way and go up and beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable. The medical doctors and nursing staff do an outstanding job of taking care of all your medical needs and ensure every aspect of your physical health is addressed. The mental health and counseling department has very good counselors that are great at getting to the root of you as a person and identifying areas of ones self that need attention. The technical staff are very accommodating, friendly, and interactive with the clients which eases time there and makes you feel really cared for. The food is outstanding and on another level that you will not find at most, if not all, other facilities. Discover Recovery employs top notch chefs that are very accommodating and highly skilled. After eating here you will 100% miss the food and be hard pressed to find a restaurant that can match it's excellence. Last, but not least, the facilities are 1st class, spacious, well cleaned and very well maintained.This place not only saved my life but gave me what I needed to make my life better than it has ever been. I cannot thank them enough.

Free by the sea truly changed my life. I came here broken, scared, uncertain, and unsure why and how I wanted to stop using substances. I left liking and loving myself so much more, with the knowledge about how and why I want to stay sober. I am so grateful for all the staff here, all of them. Special shoutout to Jared, Kurt and my counselors Brian and sue, who helped me introspect and learn who I am on a deeper level. I do think the care here is out of the ordinary in a good way, and the name is not just a cliche or play on words, I was truly freed by the sea. The structure of classes is very nice, and the community of peers at the time I was here aided me greatly. I am so grateful to God for bringing me free by the sea, and changing me for the better through this program.

I highly recommend Awakenings. I stayed for 90 days and got SO much out of it. I learned how to love myself, relapse prevention, what my triggers are, coping skills, dealt with trauma, guilt and shame, what addiction really looks like and means, how to communicate better, skills to help me deal with damage I have done to friends and family. The list goes on. Everyone of the staff members are amazing and you get group processing time daily as well as individual counseling sessions. Walks on the beach, community outings, AA meetings daily. I found a women s only inpatient to be more helpful for me because I felt I could honestly talk about any and all issues that I needed to discuss. With full sister support. I hope to only come back to visit but should I ever need help with alcohol again, this is the place I would choose.

There is nothing negative I can say about this place. There are always going to be bad reviews and good reviews. Most bad reviews are probably exacerbated in this kind of environment. These environments are extremely difficult to work in from a councilors perspective. From a patients perspective not only at this center but multiple others unfortunately. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have worked with multiple employees and for the most part. I can't complain about anything. I have been fortunate enough to be assigned to work with one of the best councilors. I don't usually name drop named but Carrie A is a God sent. I have worked with various counselors. However as far as acknowledging, caring, understand, providing resources, validating, relating, ECT... ECT... ECT... It has been nothing but a huge blessing to have someone like Carrie in my recovery corner. My recovery path hasn't been easy and I'm still working on things. Im still climbing the uphill path to recovery. I still have a way ahead of me. However I'm not falling as much. I'm now learning to rest and keep going. I didn't get here overnight. This has been a lot my time coming for me since I was about twelve years old when I started in my addiction. Now after being in the worst situation I have ever been in since I started. I'm finally in a better place and on track with the right direction then I have ever been. Especially with ith the ongoing support and direction.I haven't reached all of my goals but as far as so sobriety goes. It's night and day. Yes I'm putting the work in. However when you have someone who back you up and hasn't given up on you because of the holistic understand and experience In addition and mental health that correlates with it. Means more then anyone who just only has an education. not to say a education doesn't matter. However with only an education. I can only say based off my experience only a small percentage are able to stay in these jobs and are able to relate and help others so long and successfully. In this environment the ones who have the experience, maintain soberity, and are willing to help others succeed. In my book are valued as having at least a bachelors degree in this field. A doctorate is rare and if so being able to relate with one might be a little disconnected. These are just my options.Anyway thank you another chance and a huge thank you to Carrie A.Matthew
