What an amazing journey. If you feel like your life is off track. Feeling that you have made a mess of your life and your relationships. Maybe you have turned to harmful behaviors or are using chemicals or alcohol to mask pain, fear, anxiety or depression. If that is you...healing can happen from the inside out. Everyone should take time in their lives to address our mental health. There's nothing more important that you can do for yourself. The Center gave me a new start. I hope you give yourself that chance.

I can't explain how wonderful the techs, and nurses are. This place was my home for 28 days. The staff truly care about you they tell you, and they show you. I can't count the many times the nurses stopped what they are doing just to take time to ask me how I was doing and would sit and talk to me for however long I needed. They understand us and are truly there to help. If you are struggling please call this place. You will for sure have a guaranteed second family for life.Thus review was 2 years ago. I have been sober for 2.5 years and this is the place it all began, the beginning of learning and understanding my addiction and my trauma...I am now a better person than I was before. This place is legit. If I didn't live so far away I'd be honored to work there.

Was amazing for what would have been one of the roughest times in my life I learned things about myself and the recovery process I have never learned before staff was so helpful and caring definitely a place to consider if you truly want to change your life and get the help you deserve it all starts with the want to make a change and willingness to do so

A very welcoming staff, safe environment, great groups to learn more about over coming your addiction and how to learn about yourself and others.

Newport Port Townsend was transformational for my son who was there for severe depression. Their strength is their people. They stuck with him even when he didn't want to change. Their goal is not to just turn up to work. Their goal is to help people who need help. Then layer on that they are skilled professionals who know what they're doing. My son's clinical director, family therapist and our primary point of contact, named Angel, had a lifechanging impact on my son. She did not shy away from the questions that needed to be addressed. The CCs like Jaimison and Bailey walked every step with my son. He also did well academically while at residential thanks to Ryan and the academic staff. The team at Newport Port Townsend nurtured him and guided him to change. He discovered new interests and talents he didn't know he had. We have our son back.I don't give this review lightly. We have not had the same experience with other facilities - but what matters is my son got the help he needed when he needed it most, at Newport Port Townsend, when he was at his lowest and most vulnerable.Thank you, Newport Port Townsend. We are very grateful.

Alvin has been a powerful male influence in my life. Being stuck in the cycle of addiction and spiritually bankrupt. Alvin has helped me set my life on a new path and in a new direction. With the help of sunrise centers and the AA program. I now have hope in my life.

This is hands down the best rehabilitation and recovery place in all of Washington state!!!! I went through their program and they not only gave me the tools to fight my alcoholism but they also focused on me as a person and my life. They helped me to identify the "Why?" I was drinking through outstanding counselors and very informative group sessions. I was able to identify and make plans to correct the areas of my life that either directly or indirectly affected my ability to stay sober. All of the staff are very friendly, understanding, caring, and knowledgeable people. They make make you feel very welcome and go out of their way and go up and beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable. The medical doctors and nursing staff do an outstanding job of taking care of all your medical needs and ensure every aspect of your physical health is addressed. The mental health and counseling department has very good counselors that are great at getting to the root of you as a person and identifying areas of ones self that need attention. The technical staff are very accommodating, friendly, and interactive with the clients which eases time there and makes you feel really cared for. The food is outstanding and on another level that you will not find at most, if not all, other facilities. Discover Recovery employs top notch chefs that are very accommodating and highly skilled. After eating here you will 100% miss the food and be hard pressed to find a restaurant that can match it's excellence. Last, but not least, the facilities are 1st class, spacious, well cleaned and very well maintained.This place not only saved my life but gave me what I needed to make my life better than it has ever been. I cannot thank them enough.

Overall, a very very helpful environment. The staff were incredible, therapists and direct care alike, and I made tremendous personal progress through my stay in the program. The best part of restart is the individualized care and 1 on 1 therapy that every client gets. There's a lot of meeting you where you're at, and working at base level problems, past just the addiction that I found invaluable. The LBP is the program's biggest weakness with how "one size fits all" it appears to be, however I was glad to find that I was able to change it to fit my needs. I just wish that it were written with this in mind, as it feels something like a relic of the past in the current environment of the restart program. Groups are very hit or miss, as they can be very productive and interesting or spiral off into endless tangents based on the clientele and how well the therapist leading it can moderate discussion. The program is also very LGBT friendly, and I met the most supportive and awesome people there, both clients and staff.
