I am writing the review I wish I could have seen before having my child admitted to the residential treatment facility. He was there for 8 months. It was an overall positive experience for both myself and my kid. They came out with the tools to regulate sobriety and anger, which were both major issues prior to admission. The downsides were communication with case management and the education staff. I wish I had intervened earlier with the educational issues, but we were able to get them resolved. Thankfully, communication with the primary therapist was great!Other reviews are mixed. Sometimes they liked the food, other times they did not. There were some squabbles on the unit (imagine being among a dozen teens with behavioral issues 24 hours a day). He had disputes with a few staff members, but thought most staff were nice. Several stopped in to offer encouragement and tell him that they believed in him when we were going through the discharge process.Sending your kid to long term treatment is a hard decision, but I m glad I decided to move forward . It had been a long time since I felt hopeful about his future.

Perry, we are so happy to see that you feel this way about BrightView! Reading your nice comments about our services makes our day! Thank you so much for the positive review, we really appreciate it!
I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling with addiction. For the first time in my life I have found a place with a staff that not only cares deeply for their patients, but also do not make their patients feel judged. They really do seem to care beyond any other facility I have been to, and I have been to several. I still have a long way to go, but just knowing that they see their patients as human beings who are in a lot of pain emotionally and mentally, and not just junkies , is what gives me the strength and courage to keep trying. The staff is absolutely amazing. I will forever be grateful for this , facility, the staff, and the doctors associated with this treatment program.
