I felt comfortable and confident in my care givers prior to surgery. However was rather disappointed with care in recovery. And how quickly I was pushed out the door.

I had my first birthing experience Mary Washington s Labor and Delivery unit and I can truly say it was a great experience. My birth didn t go as I planned it but my team made me feel so supported and fully informed every step of the way. I ended up choosing to have a C-section after days of labor and hours of pushing and the on-call OB reassured me it was my choice which I definitely appreciated. I felt well taken care of the whole time. When I made it to the postpartum unit I was met by many wonderful nurses but the one that took care of me and made an impact was Tasha. She gave me tips and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I couldn t recommend Mary Washington Hospital enough for any expecting mom!

Congratulations on the birth of your first precious little one! Our Women's and Children's care team love what they do and will be delighted to know they made such a difference! We wish you and your growing family the best of health.
My experience was and has always been very informative and genuine. I may not always hear what I want to hear, but I always hear what I needed to hear and for that I am very grateful.
