We sent our daughter to Spruce several years ago. At the time she was struggling with her mental health and we were at a loss on how to best help her through this difficult process. We had several years of ups and downs, she was not making any significant process and was struggling on a daily basis. Things started to change at Spruce. We noticed a our daughter was more engaged, more willing to talk and started to become happy again. This has been a very long process but we feel that Spruce gave us a solid foundation upon which to move forward. The employees that are currently providing services to those who request it, i believe are about diligence, and take pride in assisting and helping a person find out and learn about themselves in a new way, help to set up a plan for sobriety that works for each individual's needs. My daughter started at Davenport may, 2019. When my daughter first went to Davenport she was in poor health, and didn't do well in school. She also had a very hard time at home. Since she has been at Davenport, her health is great, awesome grades in school, home visits aare pleasant and follows through with counseling and she actually listens to mom and dad. She loves her counselor and equine therapy. She is also getting life skills. My daughter was a hard kid, since she's been at Davenport she's kind and caring. I would like you all know my daughter is still at Davenport and not sure when she's going home, but I trust the staff at Davenport.
