About Vanity Wellness Center

Vanity Wellness Center provides substance abuse treatment for adults. You’ll find ‘em located out in Woodland Hills, California. They offer detox, residential, and outpatient services. Clients will notice the scenic views of the San Fernando Valley and have a compassionate, supportive setting for healing.

You’ll have luxurious amenities, like a private chef, laundry services, a swimming pool, private bedrooms, gaming consoles, table sports, and a fitness center. They also have yoga and breathwork classes available.

Detox includes 24-hour medical supervision to ensure safety and comfort. The staff is experienced in addiction and detox treatment and is available to help with issues during care.

You’ll also receive individual and group therapy. In both tracks, you’ll learn about your triggers and find new and healthier ways to cope when temptation strikes. In groups, you’ll form a network of peers who’ll stay by your side throughout the program and even after you graduate. That way, you’ll always have a sympathetic ear and shoulder to lean on.

They use proven methods, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to examine thoughts and behaviors that may have led to addiction. You can work on habits and actions that are more conducive to a life of sobriety.

Hypnotherapy is available to work on subconscious triggers and to change thinking patterns. You can gain new motivation to overcome substance use.

They use art therapy that helps with self-expression and your overall emotional health. It can also serve as a stress reducer and promote relaxation.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Hand holding medical sign icon Clinical Services

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

family iconFamily Therapy

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

art-brush iconCreative Arts Therapy

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

medical-detox iconExperiential Therapy

The use of experiential therapy can be helpful for the treatment of behavioral disorders, including drug and alcohol addiction. This method teaches you how to release negative emotions and cope with pain from the past. Activities such as art, music, and animal care are used to facilitate this process.

You gave me a life. You have given me hope. There is nothing that matters more than that.

Oscar, you're exactly right that nothing matters more than life and hope. This is why we're so proud to be in this industry - reading comments like yours. You've said so much with very few words and we're honored to be part of such a life changing process. Hope is important for all of us, and especially so for those of us recovering from addiction. If we have hope, we can achieve things we never thought possible. Thank you for such a powerful review, as it will help others that may be in a similar situation as you were.
