Not gonna lie I have never known hunger in my life until this place until my family was able to get me TONS of groceries. Other than that, yes, the place is extremely ghetto and you can t flush your toilet paper, but I ve made some of the best friends that anyone could ask for. The techs are AMAZING and care so much about all the girls, especially Tracy and Mammie. I cried every day when I got there and had no friends, except Tracy. She made me feel like I wasn t a failure and that my life wasn t over. She gave me hope. At first I was only going to stay for 30 days, but I graduated after 60 and am still clean and sober and strong with God one year later. I couldn t have done it without Tracy and my counselors, Bailey and Adrienne. This place is super rough, and yeah, it s like 60 girls packed in together, but we were there for EVERY HOLIDAY Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year s and we still had a great time. This life is what you make of it, so stop wasting it. There s always a bed open, and you will be welcome with open arms. And tell Tracy I said awwwww yeahhh , she ll know what it means lol
The classes were real life important. Grief, PTSD, codependency these and many more classes have me the tools that I could apply to my life. The staff is excellent and loving.
Most of the staff there were absolutely amazing but there was one that was very disrespectful. Would cuss at me and be very very hateful and she threatened me and then told the techs and counselorsthat I was the one who threatened her and they ended up kicking me out for no reason I was 30 days in and had 30 days left and really wanted to finish. The program was helping me grow and learn a lot about myself And then this happened if you go here, just you know, watch who you hang around and Watch what you say around the tech Tracy because she will lie and make up things about you!!
