I was nervous to go here because of the reviews. But once I did, I did NOT regret it. The ladies at the desk were super nice and patient when the need for rescheduling or anything else arose. The counselor I see is awesome and not judgemental which is very important when in this industry and has been hard to find in the medical field in Utah not being an LDS member. Give them a chance. They have more than one counselor if the first doesn't work. I've also got my son into counseling here and I think he will do very well.

I am both stubborn and resistant, which has proved to be a dangerous and difficult combination for my healing process. For me, I might have had a different experience than most as I was discharged early from residential. I had some of my best and worst days here all within my stay, yet I will never take back the fact that I went for treatment. It was life changing, and I wish I could express the change I understood, felt, and even showed. Deer Hollow will forever have a place in my heart, and I wouldn't take back my stay and treatment for anything in the world. I met one of the best therapists I have ever had here. It has been 2 years since my time at The Phoenix. I can honestly say they saved my life. I didn t know how they could possibly help me since I had already done some extreme treatments for my debilitating depression and SI. I started in residential and altogether spent about 5 months in their care.
