All the staff was amazing, but some I would like to make mention of Mary Kay was the first one that I had contact with she helped me make a smooth transition. And some honorable mentions for those who went above and beyond. Thank you! I am both stubborn and resistant, which has proved to be a dangerous and difficult combination for my healing process. For me, I might have had a different experience than most as I was discharged early from residential. I had some of my best and worst days here all within my stay, yet I will never take back the fact that I went for treatment. It was life changing, and I wish I could express the change I understood, felt, and even showed. Deer Hollow will forever have a place in my heart, and I wouldn't take back my stay and treatment for anything in the world. I met one of the best therapists I have ever had here. JMCR allowed me to see my strengths and find love for myself, It taught me just how compassionate I really am and the impact that I have on others. It has been 2 years since my time at The Phoenix. I can honestly say they saved my life. I didn t know how they could possibly help me since I had already done some extreme treatments for my debilitating depression and SI. I started in residential and altogether spent about 5 months in their care.
