When I went to Alpine, my life was in shambles. The day that I entered, I was strung out on drugs Ang couldn t Manage my life. From the very first day that I entered, it felt like home in a place that I could heal. Through hard work and working with therapists To help me through my childhood trauma, I was able to turn in my life around and today I have been clean from drugs and I am now able to manage my life much better. I entered the program on 4/23/2024. I am still clean today. Today is 10/28/2024 And I just received a six month chip for being clean at AA What s up, buddy?

To my Embark family, I love and miss you. To those looking for employment and are considering Embark, do it. I was a college student looking for a job in the field of psychology and landed on Embark. I loved the flexibility of working 3 days a week and having the other 4 days to focus on school and homework. This schedule gave me a great balance and paid decently well. Not only was I getting credit for school, I was getting firsthand experience and knowledge to all the things I had been studying! Also being a young college student with younger siblings the same age as a lot of these kiddos gave me a big sister feeling at work. Just like siblings, they drive you crazy sometimes, but you end up building connections with them to where you care and love them as if they were your own siblings. It was incredibly fulfilling to watch these kids who came in with some deep trauma be able to start healing for the first time and continue to improve over time. The beginning for most was always a little rough as they adjusted to the schedule, house, and environment, but overtime many were leaving in tears as they said their goodbyes because they were going to miss so many aspects of the residential, mostly the staff and other kiddos who they built friendships with. Many times I too cried as they departed because I grew to LOVE these kids. I also cannot praise the staff enough, especially the supervisors, Emily and Megan, who I watched go ABOVE and BEYOND for both their staff and the kids. I still consider them as some of the most sympathetic/empathetic individuals I ve ever met. Among them are many more to name that I just loved working with (life coaches, therapists, residential directors, nurses, the one and only chef, etc.) hence why I started this long post by addressing it to my Embark family, because that is what they became to me. So again if you are considering applying, I say send it. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of kids who really need it and you will have so much support from your supervisors who will treat you like a real human being! By far the biggest gift I have ever received was the treatment given at Willowtree. This place changed my life and I cant praise any more how wonderful it was with the excellent staff and care given.

They offer all the tools you will need to help your drinking become non-existent. However it is up to you and nobody else. All the staff was awesome from the counselors to the chefs. Never once that I feel alone or that I could not talk to anybody. 50 days and going strong

My LO never had the opportunity to receive treatment here, but I can't say enough good things about Natalia who works at intake. My son was arrested due to his mental illness. In a frustrating system, Natalia was a shining light who worked hard to help my son get treatment instead of prison. She wrote multiple letters to the judge, New Roads came out and did assessments and validated my questions and concerns. If the actual facility listens and cares like she did, I am sure the place would be amazing. It came highly recommended to me from various parents whose loved one's were able to recover, thanks to New Roads. I truly wish my son could have received the help that he needs from a place like this. Unfortunately, our country still has a long way to go in the criminalization of those suffering with a serious mental illness. Thanks New Roads for all that you tried to do and especially Natalia.
