It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my additions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

Security is so helpful! You cannot bring electric bikes inside to charge nor scooter. They have been extremely helpful on giving me tips to make me trips to and from manageable with my electric bike! Friendly and very to the point at the same time! So I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

I was very happy with the staff at Professional Services. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with my experience, and I also knew that I came to the right place, a place that offered classes/treatment that I had previously never been offered. There was an extremely helpful staff member. She helped me through the process and organized my schedule for me. Not only was she professional, but she was very relatable - I always felt comfortable with her efforts to help me on my journey to sobriety. I never felt judged in any way.
I appreciated the instructor Prime For Life classes - she was very helpful, and again, relatable to work with.
Another instructor had a great impact on me as well, instructing online classes each week. I learned so much about my addiction in a way I had never discovered before. The different phases of alcoholism were very understandable and easy for me to relate to. I was given hope that I now have the power to turn back, and to not lose the most important things in life!

I first started going to BAART almost two years ago I never thought I would be able to kick heroin but from the very first day of being there until today it has done nothing but get better for me and I owe it all to the staff Kevin is the man couldn't imagine having to do this without him the two nurses are the sweetest ladies you could ever ask for then there is Martha that lady knows what she is doing she runs a great program anytime I have ever had an issue or a problem she goes over it with you and solves the problem ASAP at the front desk is Lisa she knows her stuff since I've been going there Lisa has been the one to help you out with anything if you have an issue Lisa can usually solve it for you if not she can steer you in the right direction there have been a few girls that have tried to do what she does but they never last it always ends with Lisa back running the front check in by her self even when she is sick or not feeling good Lisa is the first person you see when you get there and the last person you see before you leave and she always has a smile I haven't had much interaction with Gwanda but what I have had she seems like a very nice lady always says hi with a smile but All in All I know I wouldn't be here without all of them.
