The only complaint, well it's not necessary a complaint it's more of a concern. I do know in recovery that they should be teaching, your first day as a newcomer, 0-30-45 days your body will begin to transform back to normal but not for everybody and I get that. Then your 45 days to about 90 days your mind begins to catch back up. So you should see a little change in your loved one who is in there. But there is no sign of any kind of change mentally or spiritually whichever they prefer. If your loved one is still trying to cut corners then what does that tell you? I have a fiance who was recently there and now has moved on to the house on Winthrop but yet she is cutting corners still. Example: she has a car that she drives around with no license. And that's acceptable? She is still on parole and continues to lie to her PO about going places to look for jobs when she's not even doing that. So what does that say about the teachings that they're teaching these women the first 30 days!!! Just as a suggestion or recommendation to the counselors or those who are teaching classes, maybe should focus a little bit more on curriculum and getting to the root cause instead of allowing them to cut corners. It's a relapse just waiting to happen. And who knows when that next person will leave that place overdose and pass away!! I'm just saying!! How would you feel then!! I can only sit back and pray that the next group or wave of addicts that go in there that there is some type of structure to help them in recovery...Thank you.

Worst place ever. They let me bring my prescribed medications from my primary care physician to detox for 5 days, then told me I couldn't have them for the 30 day residential program. Why would they think it's okay to give them to me for 5 days, but I could go 30 days without them. Dumbest thing ever. I strongly suggest that you go anywhere else but here.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive inpatient programs (IOP) offer high-level support for clients in early recovery, those exiting detox or inpatient rehabs, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically includes rigorous individual, group, and family counseling. Evidence-based complementary therapies, such as acupuncture and massage, are widely available. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) may be provided. Clients in IOP receive a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week but may engage in up to 20 treatment hours weekly.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
If a person denies their substance abuse behavior when confronted one-on-one, a drug intervention in Arizona may be necessary. An intervention may be formally planned with intervention services from a professional who can guide loved ones through this process. The intervention involves confronting someone with how their drinking or drug use has affected themselves and everyone around them and encourages them to get treatment.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
The safest way to remove addictive substances from your body is done under the care of licensed medical professionals. Known as medically assisted detox, this level of care is typically in an inpatient setting with a team of medical experts that may include doctors, nurses, and mental health clinicians. Medications like Suboxone, methadone, or Vivitrol may be administered to help alleviate withdrawal symptoms.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Inpatient treatment is going to be as good as you make it or as bad. You get out what you put in. I had a good experience here. It helped me to see that you can be happy without using drugs. I d definitely recommend this place to people who need help.

Basically, it s just one step above jail The worst treatment center I ve been to they have rules that make no sense. It just seems like it s trying to make it even harder on you like dumb smoking times I get not being able to smoke during group that s a thing but not being able to smoke after breakfast and other various restricted times just adds to the high high level of stress that you re going through when you re trying to recover I feel they should support the patient but they seem to punish I was here for 28 days, I liked it at first because I liked how everybody kind of got along, but that wasn t the place that was the patient And that ended up changing to after people kept getting released. Anyway, this place doesn t even have drinks or beverages during the day all you can have is one cup of coffee in the morning and Nothing to quench your thirst throughout the day besides water from a drinking fountain and restricted smoking. In conclusion, if it s not legal Pressure that s making you go here I strongly suggest against iIt is just punishment and militant with it like 10% recovery and support kind of sort of thrown in there just so that they ll look good to whoever they have to answer to.

First, I must say, the staff members David, Erick, Alicia, Chad are the kind of people that change lives, these staff are the lowest paid and they get worked to death, but not only are they on the front line dealing with the toughest issues involving clients, but they are the ones that put their whole soul into it, those mentioned should be running that place. The rest of the program, I can not say that. I was there for 50 days, there was good and bad, but what really ruined this place was the staff supervisor Marie, I ve never met someone so filled with indignant hatred, to watch her treat the people around me, who I knew were EXTREMELY vulnerable at the time, the way she was, it made me sick to my stomach. There were a few really good staff that left because of her and her horrid attitude, I ve been to prisons where guards would cringe at how she was treating her clients, she is a fetid blight on an otherwise positive program. She herself attended the program, her old roomate, who is a counselor at a local MAT services clinic told us she used to DO stuff to herself while she was in there and when she worked with her there personally witnessed her throw away grievances written about her and not submit them to her supervisors. I haven t met too many people that I just thought were horrible human beings, but she is one, if you go here, steer as far away from her as possible, you are a cockroach to her.

The staff are all there because they want to help like someone along the way helped them. Whatever it's worth ,thank you Unhooked ,
