I was referred to therapeutic associates after dealing with a weakness related injury from running. My main symptom being lower back pain (SI joint) glute pain, and knee pain during running. I was paired with Laura Cooper and Nate Palmer (so lucky to have gotten to work with both!!) and they gave me a ton of tools to build strength back in my glutes and core with a home program as well as in office training + body work. I really appreciated their thoughtful approach to answering my questions, helping troubleshoot the causes of the injuries, and helping to sustainably build me back up. I went from running 0 miles up to being able to successfully run again and got to squeeze in a 10k before the season ended! Thank you all for being the best.

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. I had such a great experience doing PT for both of my knees at Therapeutic Associates! I was back to normal sooner than I anticipated and left with more strength than I started with. All of the staff, especially Bren, are very talented, patient, and knowledgeable. The facility being attached to a gym was really helpful in expanding the type of exercises you can do. I would highly recommend Therapeutic Associates!

I've had many different pts and four the first time I feel heard and addressed as a human and individual with compassion for my challenges. I drive over an hour to get here but I've never been treated so good and that's worth the gas to get there. Thank you to everyone there from scheduling to check in.

Great individualized therapy spanning exercises, cupping, scraping, hands on manipulation with access to the Athletic Club facilities. Convenient location for those living on the westside. Chris Cooper and team are skilled and exceptional.

I had an incredibly stubborn plantar fasciitis that would not go away despite doctor support. Therapeutic Associates was recommended by a friend who said Chris Cooper had resolved her PF issues. Sure enough, Chris was amazing. He used a variety of exercises in the office and gave me instructions for home and I am now PF free. I'm back to running, hiking and living life without pain. It's amazing. Chris is thorough, measured and clearly a deep expert. I also appreciated the printed exercise sheets with images so I could remember what I was supposed to do at home. Thank you for giving me my exercising life back!

My work with Lauren Chambers was very effective, gentle, inviting, and my goals were accomplished. Breaking my hip after an accidental fall was devastating to me and I wasn't always in the best mood. But Lauren and I usually ended up laughing, hard, at some point in every session. She was able to fall into sync with me in a way that allowed the sessions to flow and progress. While I have been treated at other Central OR Physical Therapy facilities, I chose Therapeutic Associates PT at the Athletic Club of Bend at the urging of my wife who had an excellent experience after breaking her arm when falling on black ice. Am I ever glad I took her advice! Nathalie has been my primary therapist and has really hastened my recovery from painful back spasms. She very clearly explains and demonstrates home exercises and listens carefully as we work through in-office therapy stretches and movements. She is caring as well as extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend Nathalie and Therapeutic Associates to anyone who needs expert PT treatment!!!
