If I could give this place no stars I would. When they say it's a 30 day program, what they're really saying is it's a 31-32 day program. When you as a client gets there REGARDLESS of time is considered "day 1"(this information is important) your last day which is your 30th day you get a coin and you have your "new beginning". And that was spelled out as your graduation of treatment... but alas that is not the case. You have to stay into the next day otherwise you did not complete the program successfully regardless if you attended every group on your 30th day. Apparently they like to split hairs as far as you must sleep there to graduate despite whatever time you get there on day 1 is still considered your first full day even if you missed a group. Its not about recovery for them, it's about splitting hairs and It's about the money for them.

Great place. If you are ready and willing to stop your substance abuse or alcohol use, this facility is a welcoming place. The main focus is on you, and why you use. Not so much on mental illness but they do touch on that. Your first 30 days will or should help you understand your addiction and how to better handle many situations in life so you won't automatically resort to your number 1 response (using). If you are fortunate enough to stay longer it only benefits you more. House managers tend to come and go but counselors are all very good at what they do. 3 meals a day, and dinner every nite cooked by a cook. Overall, great place to start your transition to a better life. You have to want to though .I would also like to add that you are given drug tests every week, some more than others, and the cups they use are constantly giving false positives. That part is very frustrating at times because even though you know you're not, you, nobody else, you, have to deal with their consequences.

The program works if you are ready to quit your addiction. The bad reviews are from people who relasped and are looking for someone to blame. The staff can't quit for you. It comes down to your own will.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober living houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. People who meet the criteria are able to choose to live with others in a similar phase of treatment in gender specific apartments off site. They attend a minimum of one group per week and weekly one-on-one sessions.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). They offer up to 12 weeks of aftercare, completely free of charge to former clients.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients who are admitted to an outpatient rehab may be stepping down from intensive inpatient care or may be transitioning directly from a detox facility. Outpatient treatment enables clients to remain in or return to their home, workplace, and community without compromising access to care. Clients engage in addiction counseling and recovery education and may also receive evidence-based complementary therapies, such as yoga, acupuncture, and massage. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is commonly available for clients in alcohol and/or opioid recovery.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

The goal of drug rehab in Wisconsin is to address drug addiction as a complex issue that involves physical, mental, and relational aspects. During rehab, treatment focuses on each of these areas and gives you the tools you need to achieve and maintain sobriety.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Recreational therapy (aka therapeutic recreation) uses creative and fun activities to help with addiction recovery. Recreational therapists lead patients in entertaining and engaging activities like sports or games; art (drawing, painting, sculpture); drama, music, and dance; and/or community outings (field trips) to improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being.

As a form of substance use treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy in Wisconsin offers several advantages. The duration of this talk therapy is typically 20 sessions or less, so it can be more affordable, with quicker results. It's also offered in multiple formats, so it can be tailored to meet individual needs.

When conducting motivational interviewing in Wisconsin, therapists engage with their clients as equal partners. They don't provide unsolicited advice or confront clients. Instead, they ask questions and listen, with the goal of empowering clients to recognize any need for change and their ability to make those changes.

This place is a joke. It's filthy. The food is moldy, the kitchen is unsanitary and they foster a hostile environment. The staff is only there for a paycheck; they hardly pretend to care about the clients. Don't bother bringing issues up with staff or counselors, that will only get you gaslighted or worse kicked out. No one there has a clue as to how the program itself works. This on top of disinformation and flat out lies from the counseling staff. Do Not Trust these people with your life.
