Residential addiction treatment
Hale House provides a year-long transitional substance abuse program for men that allows individuals to take responsibility, readjust to society, and resume independent living. The program includes three phases. Phase one is establishing a foundation of recovery through the 12 steps, therapy, psychoeducation, and recreation activities. Phase 2 involves house responsibilities like participating in breakfast and dinner, daily meditation, assigned chores, AA/NA meetings, and an increased willingness to live the recovery ideals. Phase three is when an individual integrates back into society while staying sober and continuing to live their life with the principles of recovery.

The Hale Foundation saved my son and our family. After many years of addiction and rehab visits my son entered the Hale House. The expectations and leadership of the foundation was exactly what he needed. He has totally turned his life around. Within the past year he has purchased a home, got married, gained the sweetest step-son, and has a daughter on the way. The atmosphere, resources, expectations, support, and comradery of the Hale House allowed him to realize he desired a better life. Additionally, I have hired several gentlemen from the foundation to help with jobs around my home. They are polite, courteous, respectful, and grateful for the opportunity to help. I highly recommend the Hale Foundation to anyone in need of their services. And if anyone needs help around their home, yard work, etc. these gentlemen are worth considering.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Per session payment lets you pay for each treatment at the time of service. You may also pay for a certain number of sessions up front and then pay for more if needed. This format allows you to tailor the financial investment to your specific needs and avoid having a large lump sum payment due at the end of the treatment program.

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Aftercare, which is sometimes referred to as continuing care or relapse prevention, is a type of structured care meant to help you continue with the progress you've made after completing an addiction treatment program. Most of the time, you'll continue receiving support after a treatment program by partnering with their case managers and staff to identify and access the resources you need to remain sober.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

By incorporating recreational therapy into an addiction treatment program in Georgia, you learn to discover new interests and develop health and healthy coping mechanisms. Activities could include painting, group sports, or yoga. These encourage social interaction and support your physical fitness, which are vital factors in a successful recovery journey.

When first arriving, to say the least I was not very enthusiastic about being there. There was even a time I felt I needed to leave. Nothing to do with The Hale Foundation, but the battle was within myself. It s even more difficult to lose 12 months with family. Cliff Richards and others never gave up, they kept encouraging the program and me to become the person everyone knew I could be, again. When I finally decided to let my pride and ego go, get past the negative thoughts, I could see how much I needed this place and this program. I will always be grateful for the time spent there, working on me, for me and in the end my family. I thank Cliff, Roseanne Grubbs and Billy Threadwell for their determination to help not just me but so many others. I know how important The Hale Foundation is now and the tremendous asset it is! If you or a family member is struggling, please highly consider this place! It s changed my life and I know it will change yours!!

I went to this place in September of 2015 as homeless, unemployed man whose own family didn t want him around anymore. I spent 13 months there, and left with a better relationship with my family, self respect for myself, a higher power and a job. Today I am a big part of my family and I m able to help them In many ways, run the residential department at my company and do many other things there, I own a house, I married the woman I love which included blessing my with a stepson and now how a daughter on the way. I wouldn t have been able to accomplish any of that had the Hale Foundation. It saved my life and showed me how to be a productive member of society. I think more than anything though they taught me how to be grateful and appreciate life.
