outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Withdrawing from addictive substances, like alcohol, benzodiazepines (like Xanax), or opioids, occurs during the detox process. Since this process can have uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects, the mission of a medically assisted detox is to provide an expert medical team to help monitor your health around the clock. They will work to keep you as safe and comfortable as possible, administering necessary medications to alleviate any withdrawal symptoms.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Choosing a drug rehab in South Carolina helps you overcome drug dependency, learn how to manage cravings, and obtain the tools needed to prevent relapse. This is accomplished through individualized treatment that addresses a full spectrum of physical, social, and emotional needs.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Their "counselors" will invent anything to tell you that you need additional treatment just so they can seize your money. "Counselors” simply repeat what you have on the papers in your profile, there is no real insight on the help they should be giving (and what you paid f ... Read More

Went for intake, I'm not required to be here other than for a past dui... They never gave me a date to come In then sent me a letter telling me they would drop me. Called for weeks now answer! Finally had to take a day off. To clear it up had called that Jamison guy who never answered. But yet when I went in his secretary was able to reach him. This guy doesn't help or work with anyone. Because I work an actual career and can't miss work. And being I get off at 530 and he knew this still tried to make me come in . Yeah big mistake wasting my time here. Post all you want on your standards and what ever this place is the worst treatment center I have ever been too. No one literally knows what's going on! Do not go here!

Highly recommend. Professional and competent. I took a relative here and initially was very stressed. We were treated well by people that wanted to help. Everyone we interacted with was kind and professional. We didn t feel judged, and the staff even dresses like normal people you would see in everyday life, which helped make it a calm atmosphere. If you want help, or even if you re a parent of someone that isn t sure they want help yet, this is a great place.

And working on my first year without alcohol, could ve been two but I had to test the waters lol I would give my success to myself and the power of healing crystals & higher forces 100% Y all could care more, do more, WATCH WHO YOU HIRE bc I ve had a couple there I could tell was there just for the money sadly if you TRULY don t want to HELP PLEASE LEAVE people need something real that can give them a glimpse of hope when everything else is bleak & the counselors I met was far from any help sadly. I hope y all got better caring counselors.

I got sent here for DSS and it's been over 12 weeks and they seem to not be helping people like they should. I would recommend they do one on one instead of 2 or 3 hour classes , and they don't give u breaks in between.

I can honestly say at first I was a little hesitant. I was sent here to take a 6-week DOT class. I could tell this was the first time dealing with something like this but I can honestly say if you need help this is the place to be. From day one they were nothing but professional kind and caring. I had to switch counselors midcourse cuz he was retiring but the new counselor Jacob was a younger gentleman but he knew his stuff he had a way of making everybody feel comfortable and open up in class I feel like I've gained a whole lot from this experience I did have to extend my class by 3 weeks and do a total of nine but it was well worth it. I even plan to continue after I'm processed out so please if you need help this is the place to be

I would give zero but its not an option. All my drug screens were clean. I paid up front. I was not completed for ADSAP based only on the fact I had treatment 11 yrs prior. No other reason. Its a money scam. Use a different place.

This place has been great for me. I willingly enrolled myself in services and have gotten a lot out of the program. My counselor is amazing. Most people that come here are here because they have to be. Not choose to be. You have to be willing to put in the work and follow the rules, if you really want the help. I have been sober since starting and it has really helped me.
