We are very disappointed with this counseling center. We were referred by our church to Bill. After 2 visits at $75 a piece, he ghosted us and never returned our calls or emails again. We also never received any helpful tips or advice on how to deal with difficult family members. He simply set up a zoom, listened, and ended it. What a waste of money. I will be speaking with the pastor of our church about our experience so that nobody else is referred to this place.

Marla is not someone I would send my family to ever again. Sadly...there are great counselors and there are counselors who are detrimental and Marla is the later. I know of one young man who has been counselored by this office for nearly 10 years and has never made amends with his family. Another additional two young men who have both seen Marla have chosen to cut ties with many of their family members.I know what you are thinking...we are probably one of "those families" but we are not. Our family surrounds people with love and support, which is how we ended up at Bridge Counseling. We sought support and we ended of with Marla. She has done more damage than we could have imagined; possibly too much to mend. If you love your kids, your marriage, your family...do not use Marla McNeely at Bridge Counseling Center in Conroe, TX.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Professor Davis has answered every one of my phone calls even when he was not at work. He takes the time to listen to every one involved with an open mind. My case involves my teenage son and is extremely complex. Professor Davis has the experience, knowledge and wants to help. I have been to several therapists, some have done more harm than good, they could not diagnose the problem therefore could not treat it. He cares about the kids with an ethical and moral responsibility

Our visit to the The Bridge Counseling Center was the worst visit anywhere I have ever been. I did not feel welcomed, or even like a human. The man was very rude and disrespectful. He grabbed/pulled paperwork out of my hand after telling us he did not use our insurance. Slammed the door in our faces, would not give us our personal information from the paperwork we filled out. Made my husband and I very uncomfortable and shook us to our core by how rudely he treated us. How can someone counsel anyone else while being such a horrible communicator and or Person.

Bill-Jack Davis came highly recommended and has lived up to that recommendation. He has a wealth of knowledge with over 30 years in the helping profession. His approach is simple, yet practical enough to help many different situations and scenarios. He is firm and consistent, yet compassionate and caring. He has literally answered every single one of my phone calls (even on his time off, when busy), texts, and emails in the year plus that I have been working with him and in a timely manner, at that. I would, without a doubt, recommend him to help others!

Big jack Davis has seen my daughter( Emma falls) 4 appointments @65 dollars a piece. We where trying to see if our daughter would be need ADHD medication to help her in school. He told my wife he would email her that day the results to bring to our pediatric doctor. This was two months ago. We are unable to get in touch with him in any way. We called his cell. Work number. Texted him. Drive to his office during lunch. He will not even return our calls. He won't respond to emails. I'm going to give him until Friday to make good on his obligations before I call the better business borough. We sent him text and we receive a read receipt but he doesn't respond.
