DPR was one of the most eye opening and healing places I could have found exactly when I was ready to make a change.The nursing staff (specifically Amanda and Tiffany) took care of me, followed up, asked questions, and listened. I couldn t have felt more safe with them and in the right hands. You both were quick to help, give info, and show me the love and care I couldn t ever imagine I would have gotten. Love you both forever and a day.The clinical side walked me through some of the worst pain but at a pace that built long lasting consistency as long as I want it. Thank you Breana, Michelle, Cam, and Sherman!! There were a lot of tears, anxiety, and anger but with all of your help (especially Breana and Michelle) I have the building blocks to get to the other side of this.The residential coaches watched over us and made sure we had everything we needed (shout out to Taj, Cindy, and Jerome!!) you made the stay light hearted and I felt the love. I couldn t have laughed more than the nights with Taj and Cindy. Jerome no words can say how much it meant when I got some of the hardest news I ve ever got and a simple hug with words of strength still stay with me.Finally, thank you to the absolutely best chef EVER Drew!! Some of THE most delicious food and always looking out to make sure everyone was accommodated. You not only fed our body but your input fed the heart and soul.Thanks to all of you I m still sober and doing the work! Note to my past self, trust them, they ll be there every step of the way.

Discovery Point Retreat has been a life changing event for me. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous and genuinely care about an individuals recovery first and foremost. I would recommend DPR to anyone serious about Recovery for a lifetime.

I had the best training and experience with Ms.Cheryl and her partner for CPR training and Ms. T was super dope with her CPI training. Every time it s a refresher course, I would definitely like to train again with these wonderful women 10/10

Symetria saved my life in more than one way. Each member of this team deeply cares about the patient without judgement. Vannah is such an incredible Clinician who truly listens, is an advocate for her patients, and is helping me work through my trauma to heal in a healthy way. Symetria Recovery saved my life!! I was driving down the highway suffering major withdraw from opioid addiction. I found Symetria Recovery and they had me in the very next day. When I got tested, I was positive for Fentanyl, which had to of come from something off the street. I nearly had a panic attack thinking about my life ending, leaving behind my wife and 3 beautiful children. I've been here for about 18 months clean and sober and have never been happier. What can you say to someone who has given you back your son? Thanks is not enough not even close! If you are reading these reviews, and you have a loved one dealing with addiction issues, you know it feels like this crazy, terrible, fear-fueled circus ride you are on, and even when you are begging for it to stop, it just keeps going! All the while, you love the person, but you feel helpless to help them.We felt we had lost our son to drugs about 8 years ago, so when we sat down in 2023 to talk to the team at Lighthouse, we were tired, devastated and fearful of our son s future. We did not know what to do, but the destruction of addiction had taken a terrible toll on our family. I had heard about Lighthouse from my son s doctor about 3 years earlier, and I had even called and talked to a friendly, young man at Lighthouse named Grant. He was amazing and helpful. But, my son was not ready to go. Grant gave me options and said to call him if I needed any other help.Fast forward 3 years. We tried to talk to him. We cried. We pleaded to stop the drugs. Finally, we told him he would have to move from our home. We offered rehab and said we were 110% behind recovery but would no longer be able to help him while he chose drugs. I felt my heart breaking! It was interesting to see how over the last eight years, he had lost jobs, friends and so much money over this drug. Now, no one was bailing him out and no friends were opening up their doors for him to come stay with them.History: Our son had graduated at the top of his class. He had taken Calculus and was in National Honor Society. He had been an active youth leader in our church! How could he have chosen to start smoking weed? And what started as a fun past time with friends, quickly spiraled downward into an all encompassing addiction that would take every dime, and every thought from him . It demanded everything from him.In April of 2023, our son hit a bottom, and my dear Uncle was able to talk to him, and he called us and said he would go to rehab. While at rehab, we gingerly started talking about sober living. At first it was a resounding no , but we told him we had looked at the top sober living homes in Dallas, and Lighthouse came out on top for us. We told him that everyone was kind and helpful.Lighthouse is amazing. A young man named Augie told us his story and the part about living in his truck was similar to our son s story. We also met Frankie who helped give us a tour of one of the homes. He answered questions. Grant was right there too! They offered hope! But the best is that our son then talked to Grant while in rehab, and he started considering it. He entered Lighthouse July 1, and he was there 10 months. He did the full program at Lighthouse! It was such a great program!Tears fill my eyes on this next part, he called me today on FaceTime to show me his Christmas tree, and the X-box he had purchased from a pawn shop! He has pawned so many gaming systems for drugs in the past, and now he had purchased one from a pawn store! By the way, while at Lighthouse, he saved and bought a car on his own (men at Lighthouse mentored him on finances). He got a good job while at Lighthouse! He is now living in a nice apartment, has a dog and a girlfriend. He has been at his job 14 months. And he was calling to invite his mom and dad to dinner! Like I said, Thank you is just not enough!The staff is incredible! Bryce and Frankie are so good with our son. They still mentor him. Steve mentored him and taught him how to handle his finances. Dr Keels is wise and insightful in the middle of it all, and we needed that! Mike Jones has assembled an all-star team that gives young men their lives back.We had to get creative with our finances to do this step. I want to be honest about that, but there are so many ways to get creative, and we just felt we had to give our son this shot .. worth every penny!I cannot recommend Lighthouse enough!! I know the pain of losing my son for years, and now getting him back! PRICELESS!! And I pray that for you too!
