I took my child there for about 3yrs. It was a huge help! They provided my child with tools to help her deal and process different situations in life. At first it was a bit slow because my child was apprehensive but once she started opening up, then there started to be progress. Understand that this is a two way street. You get as much as you put into it. Also, as a parent you have to be open and willing to take responsibility for your part, as well as patient and understanding of the process. The change and progress is gradual. I beg you from one parent to another, don t be the one to stump your child s emotional and mental health. I recommend therapy to any and everyone who is willing to listen. There is a better way, for a better tomorrow.

I went here years ago so maybe my memories are tainted but I credit this place with helping me maintain sobriety during my probation. Although you are not able to drink when you're on probation, it's still a choice. I feel like I was able to freely let my counselor and my group know when I thought about drinking. My counselor even took the time to get to know my family and Council all of us. This was a very bad time in my life but I truly enjoyed going to group and even when I didn't want to go once I got there I was always okay. This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don t know you need professional help until you re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care.I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did.From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people.
