This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. I believe everything happens for a reason! Skyward treatment has been a life saver for me. The staff is very well trained and respectful from the top down. The general manager Court has always been there to listen to, address and advocate for me. Audrey the floor manager runs a very loving group of staff techs. Amy the clinical manager has some wonderful therapists that worked well to help me through my problems with my alcohol addiction. Jessica the director of nursing is always available to answer any questions that I ve had about medications and health. Mr. Muhammad s acupuncture was one of my favorite tools in relieving the stress, anxiety, and cravings. These folks are the real deal! Two weeks ago I had to take my kid to the ER after an accident. Any time your child is sick or hurt it is a scary experience but thanks to Dr. Woo we were thoroughly and compassionately taken care of! He was so thoughtful and AMAZING. I really appreciated how he took his time talking with us and he even did a physical exam (unlike other doctors). We were in and out quickly and Dr. Woo made sure I knew what to look out for in case I needed to return. I can t thank him enough for the care and peace of mind he gave us. I just wish he could also be my kids pediatrician!

Dropping my daughter off on a ranch, across the country, in the middle of Texas was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Had it not been for the encouraging words of other parents who had been in my shoes, I don't know if I would have done it. In an effort to learn as much as I could about Fulshear, I read these reviews, and, of course, the negative reviews terrified me. A year later, my daughter has graduated. Fulshear saved her life and I can say with one hundred percent honesty, that NONE of these awful things people have written are true. I have never met such loving and kind people--people who loved my daughter when she was at her worst and they certainly didn't have to. And they are what saved her. It wasn't enough for my husband and me to love her. She needed to know she could be loved by people who didn't have to. The staff and therapists are kind and caring but of course they challenge the girls---otherwise how would they grow? The other clients can be difficult---if they weren't, they wouldn't be at Fulshear. But these things taught my daughter to be strong, to learn to set boundaries, to have healthy relationships. My daughter was 19 when she entered Fulshear, but probably had the emotional maturity of a 16 year old. She left at 20 with the emotional maturity of a 30 year old. Fulshear saved her life and gave me my daughter back. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone whose child needs their services.

I took my child there for about 3yrs. It was a huge help! They provided my child with tools to help her deal and process different situations in life. At first it was a bit slow because my child was apprehensive but once she started opening up, then there started to be progress. Understand that this is a two way street. You get as much as you put into it. Also, as a parent you have to be open and willing to take responsibility for your part, as well as patient and understanding of the process. The change and progress is gradual. I beg you from one parent to another, don t be the one to stump your child s emotional and mental health. I recommend therapy to any and everyone who is willing to listen. There is a better way, for a better tomorrow.

I went to this facility, and alot of the "issues" have to do with the kids. I loved the staff, and they went above and beyond with every patient. I made my own mistakes and decisions, but their program gave me so many tools I still use. They hosted a Christmas party and brought gifts for each and every patient, with pizza and all other foods. I can go on and on about how much the staff invests and contributes to these kids. Either way 5 stars lol
