I spent 3 days inpatient recently on the 5th floor. All of the nursing and support staff were wonderful, kind and genuinely caring. It's evident that all the staff care about what they do and genuinely enjoy helping people. I'd like to make special mention of one nurse, Susana. She cared about me as an individual person. She made sure to write down the names of staff who would be interacting with me that day and any plans for the day. She explained to me the medications I was receiving. She made sure she understood what my needs were and when I started getting better and became a less urgent patient, she stopped frequently to ask how I was and if I needed anything-or wanted anything. She brought me an ice pop and it was just so sweet. I felt very human and cared about.It's easy for patients to feel like they are out of the loop in regards to their own care during a hospital stay, but that was not my experience here.

I will start off this review by saying Starlite Recovery Center literally saved my life.I went to Starlite after trying to detox my self off alcohol, I went to Starlite after two days of trying the process myself and I went downhill real quick and had to be sent to hospital and spent the next 5 days in ICU, I was readmitted to detox after my stay in hospital, I was treated with the upmost care.The staff at Starlite is topnotch, everyone from nursing staff to counselors and cafe staff all care about the patients well being and recovery, I would recommend Starlite to anyone struggling with addiction.Best,NPG

SARC saved my life. My life had become unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. I was still working my full time successful career, but it was only a matter of time before I could have lost everything I ve spent my life building. Tired of waking up with a black box of wine on my nightstand I threw lord knows what into my suitcase and checked into Cagnon for 38 days. For a girl accustomed to being in complete control I was petrified. I was a mess. The staff was so welcoming and walked me through the process. Was I ready to take 12 weeks off of work? It was life or death and I chose life. The detox process was tough. Reba and Alan made me as comfortable as I could be. I had sweats and nightmares. Roy, a lead counselor calmed me down. My job for 5 days was sleep, hydrate and rest. Gen the program Director Is fabulous. She kept assuring me trust in the process. Allow myself time to heal, grieve and let someone take care of me for once. The days are very structured with wellness, nutrition, groups, education, counseling. Nutrition and routine and self discipline are key. We have one job while in treatment. Show up!! It s impossible not to learn, grow and learn valuable tools and coping skills to set you up for a lifetime of sobriety. All counselors know your name and your case. They are always available to lend an ear and advice. The center is staffed with people in long term recovery. Richard, Steven, Blake, Jess, Mandy Jo all have real life experience , Every night there is an AA meeting and fellow patients can meet in groups to do book study, talk and truly become a recovery family. This is a private facility that works with many insurance companies and helps people who need to make arrangements for private pay. The setting is serene and a wonderful place to heal. Gen, Roy and Paula are true experts in their field. Each with their own individual techniques and special touches to group sessions. I am for ever indebted to the techs, counselors and Karen and Raul Ruelas for their relentless passion in fighting for those struggling with substance abuse disorder to live a long happy life free of drugs and alcohol. World class facility. Amazing caring people who pour their heart and sole into what they do. She s a disgrace to the recovery community!! Do not go there.

ERA few weeks ago I had an episode of extreme abdominal pain that required me to go to an emergency room and I went to N.E. Baptist. I was very surprised at my experience. Having to go to an ER regardless is a miserable experience but everyone in your department made it as best as it was possible. A special thanks to Maria who was both professional but friendly and treated me with such care that I felt more comfortable. My doctor listened to me - really listened - and did his best to understand and diagnose my situation. He made sure to explain to me in detail and in a manner that I fully understood what he believed was a diagnosis and a plan for treatment. I was extremely impressed by his thoroughness as well as the thoroughness and professional of the entire staff.I met with a specialist the following day and had the information I needed to be far further in treatment than had I not gone to N.E.
