I believe everything happens for a reason! Skyward treatment has been a life saver for me. The staff is very well trained and respectful from the top down. The general manager Court has always been there to listen to, address and advocate for me. Audrey the floor manager runs a very loving group of staff techs. Amy the clinical manager has some wonderful therapists that worked well to help me through my problems with my alcohol addiction. Jessica the director of nursing is always available to answer any questions that I ve had about medications and health. Mr. Muhammad s acupuncture was one of my favorite tools in relieving the stress, anxiety, and cravings. These folks are the real deal! Two weeks ago I had to take my kid to the ER after an accident. Any time your child is sick or hurt it is a scary experience but thanks to Dr. Woo we were thoroughly and compassionately taken care of! He was so thoughtful and AMAZING. I really appreciated how he took his time talking with us and he even did a physical exam (unlike other doctors). We were in and out quickly and Dr. Woo made sure I knew what to look out for in case I needed to return. I can t thank him enough for the care and peace of mind he gave us. I just wish he could also be my kids pediatrician!

Dropping my daughter off on a ranch, across the country, in the middle of Texas was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Had it not been for the encouraging words of other parents who had been in my shoes, I don't know if I would have done it. In an effort to learn as much as I could about Fulshear, I read these reviews, and, of course, the negative reviews terrified me. A year later, my daughter has graduated. Fulshear saved her life and I can say with one hundred percent honesty, that NONE of these awful things people have written are true. I have never met such loving and kind people--people who loved my daughter when she was at her worst and they certainly didn't have to. And they are what saved her. It wasn't enough for my husband and me to love her. She needed to know she could be loved by people who didn't have to. The staff and therapists are kind and caring but of course they challenge the girls---otherwise how would they grow? The other clients can be difficult---if they weren't, they wouldn't be at Fulshear. But these things taught my daughter to be strong, to learn to set boundaries, to have healthy relationships. My daughter was 19 when she entered Fulshear, but probably had the emotional maturity of a 16 year old. She left at 20 with the emotional maturity of a 30 year old. Fulshear saved her life and gave me my daughter back. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone whose child needs their services.

I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.

I recently had my first visit at the Lake Jackson location. I had been very sick and my care provider from the Houston VA did not seem address my issues. While I was staying in Sargent, my upper respiratory issue had gotten worse. I called this location and was informed that I could come as a walk-in.Let me tell you, what a HUGE difference ! The reception staff were beyond patient and caring. The nurse, PA, and X-ray tech were professional, caring and compassionate .I am seriously considering changing my VA location since I live part time in Sargent.I truly appreciate the service I received and I also received a follow up call. That never has happened at the Houston VA.Great service, highly recommend!
