outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers intensive addiction treatment while allowing you to return home each day. It can serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a step-down option. Depending on your needs, PHP treatment typically averages 90 days with a weekly requirement of 6-8 hours a day. PHP treatment offers a variety of therapeutic interventions such as individual counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation. Oftentimes PHP treatment can be fully covered by insurance.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Ridding the body of harmful, addictive substances, also known as detoxification, is usually the first phase of recovery. Those going through medically assisted detox can be administered medications by a team of medical professionals who are on-site 24/7 to provide different types of therapies that help mitigate withdrawal symptoms.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

life-skills iconLife Skills

The right life skills training will help you build the skills you need for recovery. You'll learn how to solve problems, improve your social life, enhance your mental health, and make good decisions. This is a key component of drug rehab programs in Texas.

I worked here for several years and it is honestly one of the best inpatient units in DFW. The psychiatrist and psych nurse practitioner really care about their patients. My direct manager was amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to work there or needs a place to get help during a behavioral health crisis.

I don't know who did it. If it was behavioral health or Nurse Terri after talking to my mother, imagine getting to Wellbridge to find out someone lied on me saying I had a argument with my mother. That got written in my discharge paperwork from y'all, played a huge part in me just now getting out a horrible place just like the reviews said and I got turned involuntary. Thanks a lot for playing a part in making me worse to have to put my own self together. Y'all all need to do better when it comes to patients dealing with depression, panic disorder & knowing the difference between thoughts and actual actions. If I could've given y'all a zero I would have and the run around y'all gave me was stressful and annoying and so unprofessional and disorganized. Do better.

Dr Morse and nurse Theresa delivered our baby boy. These two were 10/10 and made everything as smooth as possible.

Been going for about 3 weeks now, it s not for everyone but it is a good fit for most I would say. Doc and the therapist are amazing, won t find better anywhere, especially at a nonprofit facility.

This place saved my life. Everyone here cares about you getting better, and Dr. Lawrence is a magician when comes to finding a medication setup that will help you. I would recommend this facility to anyone in a crisis.

IM telling you now, the unsung heroes are the people working under the doctors of this place. Don't get me wrong Dr Lawrence is a healing hand himself but the social worker Melanie...best at her job there! The nurse Practitioner Sarah...She is the right hand of God. Great communication and helpful to boot. Also the Nurses on the floor were full of information and positivity. Great experience at an awfully hard moment in our lives. Didn't give 5 stars because of the Chicken Parm, gross! Chicken and marinara should never be grouped together.

Don t waste your time. Chris or Cris or whatever her name is that does the evaluations is condescending, rude, and have NO BUSINESS working in this field. After not taking a loved one seriously, and being told if something happens she is going to be held responsible, she came back with sarcasm about going to the nearest ER. she does not belong in a mental health hospital and treats people who have the courage to ask for help like a joke. I am beyond furious.

I came here with severe depression and anxiety.Dr. Lawrence is a miracle worker with treatment. He is kind and he treats the whole person not just the disease which is so helpful. Jowell is an excellent, funny and nice therapist. Christine is good too. Marti the nurse helps you navigate through the problems with any of your medicines. The cafeteria food is excellent and fair priced. This place is really good and I highly recommend it. This is my third time in PHP and IOP programs but my first here and this one has done the trick.

Dr. Lawrence and his staff literally saved my life. A former veteran who wasn't treated properly from a deployment years ago, i fought suicide after life just kept pushing me down to my breaking point. I was unable to get help from the VA and civilian psychiatrists would not give me the time of day. Dr. Lawrence and his nurse did not give up on me. He understood what i was going through. Its like he put himself in my shoes and i was a 10 day difficult task and challenge. If it wasnt for him and his crew, i wouldn't be here smiling today and enjoying life again. Thank you so much
