This place has been very friendly and I think they are doing a great job.

Our son arrived several months ago, belligerent and uncommunicative, at least with us. He was defiant and adamant about his never wanting to return home. After being there for only a month, his attitude and perspective began to change. He started communicating with us again, began to open up regarding some of the circumstances that caused him to be there and told us he loved us and wanted to come back home. Yes, there were some rough patches and challenging to all of us at times. But, now, our son is home and we are learning better about how to be a family. We are grateful to the administrative staff at Natchez Trace for facilitating his transitions between us and them, the support staff for creating a caring, compassionate environment, and the therapists for their insight and tenacity in identifying some of the seminal issues and providing a safe environment, allowing him an opportunity to express his feelings without prejudice or judgement. We had an opportunity to engage with all levels from the CEO to the nursing staff and always felt our concerns were truly listened to, heard, and addressed. We are grateful for their help, and respectfully hope we never have to see any of them again in a professional capacity! A big hug and continued prayers to all who helped our son. They are a blessing and a gift from God.
