Our son arrived several months ago, belligerent and uncommunicative, at least with us. He was defiant and adamant about his never wanting to return home. After being there for only a month, his attitude and perspective began to change. He started communicating with us again, began to open up regarding some of the circumstances that caused him to be there and told us he loved us and wanted to come back home. Yes, there were some rough patches and challenging to all of us at times. But, now, our son is home and we are learning better about how to be a family. We are grateful to the administrative staff at Natchez Trace for facilitating his transitions between us and them, the support staff for creating a caring, compassionate environment, and the therapists for their insight and tenacity in identifying some of the seminal issues and providing a safe environment, allowing him an opportunity to express his feelings without prejudice or judgement. We had an opportunity to engage with all levels from the CEO to the nursing staff and always felt our concerns were truly listened to, heard, and addressed. We are grateful for their help, and respectfully hope we never have to see any of them again in a professional capacity! A big hug and continued prayers to all who helped our son. They are a blessing and a gift from God.

My name is Matt I completed the 28 day residential program on December 11th. Of this year (2024) and I must say it has been an amazing impact in my life and my early recovery, the staff there are amazing brandi, Amy,April thad, Donnie Brittany, Angelica ,beth ,terran, ( if im spelling it correctly lol) beth Gary and my counselor Patrick were all amazing, understanding, and above all they actually cared about each and every client. They are all very good people and are in recovery as well , they made my time there very easy and I cannot express my appreciation for all of them .. so long story short ,yes they have rules and structure but it's for your own benefit. I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have been send to jacoa in Jackson it truly saved my life .so thank you all! They always said that we do more for them than we can ever understand,but I think they are doing more for us as clients that we will never be able to repay them for . I love Spero health. They really go above and beyond for us. If we miss a appointment continuously they still will work hard to get you in on the same day, or the following day they are in the office. They make sure we have our meds in between appointments if we miss. They are very hard working, compassionate, and patient working with us addicts lol. They are non-judgemental, the staff, and the sweet, sweet doctor. The doc is so awesome, compassionate, and understanding. Thank y'all for all y'all do for people with this disease.

Not to be antagonistic, but most, if not all of the complaints on here are from people who were asked to leave because they refused to submit to the leadership of HC, or they just left on their own because they were not serious enough about getting TOTALLY clean. My son went through the men s HC program 2 separate times in Waverly (which is located near McEwen). The 1st time he completed the program, but relapsed later and had to go through the program again. The 2nd time he refused to submit to leadership & was asked to leave. HC leadership is godly & loving. I highly recommend this ministry!!!
