I took a loved one here for detox, and an extended stay. The staff (while following all legal procedures) treated my family member with respect and empathy. The staff treat them like people, NOT like patients. They re accommodating and helpful. The facility is safe, comfortable, well maintained, and equipped to be a hospital without the irredentist lights and straight jackets.

I had a great counselor and amazing head rt lady's. Not to mention the front desk lady's. But I'm sensing a change with this new building it seems there more worried about there numbers being up than true recovery I guess that happens when the head people that don't even talk or come by to see the people in recovery run things. They seem more focused on painting a pretty picture in there numbers rather than that authentic spirit you could feel in the old samaritan. And if that is what is really transpiring than what a loss and such a disappointment. Greed kills the soul!

From intake, to the billing department (Chance), to my group therapy sessions (and my therapist, Tim...awesome dude), and my coach (Jackie) I was shown love, care, and support by everyone with whom I came in contact, staff and fellow patients alike. They provided me with a judgement-free environment where I was able to be honest and vulnerable to get the most out of my recovery. I came in to the program in absolute tatters and left with my head held high. I was given the tools necessary to ensure that I started my journey of recovery on the right path.To anyone reading this and debating facilities or programs, please stop looking. I needed help but I was honestly terrified of going to a "mental hospital". The staff and fellow outpatients made me feel so comfortable. I learned so much about myself, my diagnosis, and how to cope. I am so happy that I made the decision to ask for help and even happier that I chose this amazing facility.
