Today I can proudly say I am not the person I was 2 years ago. I am so much happier now that I am living a drug free life. I couldnt have done it with out the amazing JP staff you girls are an inspiration and give us so much hope for the future. They check in on me every week to see how I'm doing and help in every way to keep you in recovery once you get out. Thankyou Journey Pure with out you I would only be in three places jails institutions and 6 feet under. Keep up the great work!!!

If you have a family member struggling with addiction and do not know what to do, please turn to Discovery Place in Dickson, TN for help. They truly are a caring group of people and will help your loved one get their life back on track. What makes them unique is that the leadership are all in recovery. There is a great support system there which is unmatched anywhere. Traditional recovery does not compare to what Discovery Place can provide. Kudos to Adam, Matt, Jake and Jesse for their unwavering support.

My recent stay at S2L was life-changing. For years, I have been struggling with depression, anxiety, alcohol, addiction, etc. I saw help and was given methods, steps, ways to cope with the things I was dealing with. But I always knew deep down that this was a Band-Aid approach.I have been a Christian for a long time, but my faith was very weak at best, all but dead. I thought I was going to just have to suck it up and live with my problems, coping the best I could, for the rest of my life. But God had other plans. He led me to S2L where I learned, or was reminded of, my true identity in Christ. They taught me of all the spiritual blessings I had because of what Jesus had done for me on the cross, how I was a son of the King himself, filled with the Holy Spirit, and that all I needed was Him. S2L taught me the four pillars and seven principles from 2 Peter 1 and how to live each day in the Spirit, serving Christ.Nutshell, S2L gave me hope and pointed me to Christ. I haven't been to too many, but this was definitely the best treatment center I've been to. The staff is great. They are motivated and truly care about their jobs. They made every reasonable accomodation they could for me. And I was lucky enough to be there with a great group of people as well. It was a surprisingly comfortable experience, and I learned a lot. Also, the meals were excellent.

I took a loved one here for detox, and an extended stay. The staff (while following all legal procedures) treated my family member with respect and empathy. The staff treat them like people, NOT like patients. They re accommodating and helpful. The facility is safe, comfortable, well maintained, and equipped to be a hospital without the irredentist lights and straight jackets.

My name is Matt I completed the 28 day residential program on December 11th. Of this year (2024) and I must say it has been an amazing impact in my life and my early recovery, the staff there are amazing brandi, Amy,April thad, Donnie Brittany, Angelica ,beth ,terran, ( if im spelling it correctly lol) beth Gary and my counselor Patrick were all amazing, understanding, and above all they actually cared about each and every client. They are all very good people and are in recovery as well , they made my time there very easy and I cannot express my appreciation for all of them .. so long story short ,yes they have rules and structure but it's for your own benefit. I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have been send to jacoa in Jackson it truly saved my life .so thank you all! They always said that we do more for them than we can ever understand,but I think they are doing more for us as clients that we will never be able to repay them for . Thank you jacoa for all the love , advice , and for caring about each client that comes through the doors. I hope to see you all again soon maybe I could come and tell my story there in a year or so . I started freeman August 2022 and stayed with them for 8 months! I met some amazing people that truly care for the residents and go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of comfortably during that time. Freeman offers wonderful classes and support! Big shout to Paul Cruz none of this would of been possible without you!

EMR was critical for my recovery! I am now 4+ years sober! EMR gave me the tools and coping skills I need to start a new chapter in my life. I love the post graduation involvement with alumni meetings and a wonderful app to connect with other EMR alumnus. Thank you EMR staff!
