Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I loved the structure it had, but I feel to much emphasis placed on working. Pastor Jeff, Sister Becky, are wonderful people. But they just can't see all the corruption going on behind the scenes with certain other staff. Left there after 6 1/2 months because I can't be led by some staff taking advantage of a ministry. But the Lord worked wonders on me while I was there And restored my marriage. Glory to God

Just visited this facility today. They are making nice renovations everywhere. All the guys I met were cheerful and seemed happy. The staff really seems to be on top of things and have a genuine heart to see the students succeed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this programpto someone needing their services.

Everyone was kind and patience. Loved my son who is 48. Shows me great respect. Appreciated everything I did when I came. My son was happy there and Kelly saying he had many confirmations he was suppose to be there. I will say sometimes when young people go there not really ready to go. So you hear stories from them because they re not truly ready. My son went to several rehabs and didn t stay. Now he s 48 and he staying. So mothers don t be discouraged don t blame all of the rehabs. From experience I know is slanted news. When they are truly ready they will stick it out. I pray your son or your daughter will truly be ready one day like my son is today at 48.

As a mom with a son who went through this program. I'm thankful for all they do. I was visiting from our home state, and joined them at the Abundant Life Church, that day changed my life too! It became clear to me, this was so much bigger than my son, the 20 men raising their hands in worship, it was about the whole world Teen Challenge serves. I cried half way home from Missouri. Thank God for Teen Challenge, and Abundant Life <3

First of all, it's not a horrible place. People come in fighting many life controlling issues and problems. Being a faith based program it is not a medical center but does offer many wonderful opportunities. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to go through this program, I would not be alive if I did not.
