outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

There are many types of drug rehab in North Carolina. To receive treatment for addiction, you can choose from many inpatient and outpatient programs. Often, participants start with detox and work through a full continuum of care that continues with ongoing support for long-term recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

I've been coming here for 4 years and this is the best clinic I've been to. Remember, the people that are complaining are typically the ones doing the wrong thing.Ive had nothing but positive experiences with caring staff! Kelsey was the best counselor I could've asked for but my new counselor is fantastic as well (we just need to get better acquainted)

Go anywhere else but here! They have faulty drug test that makes stuff show up in your system when it's not there! Very unprofessional!

These people are like family. They nurses seem to truly care about the patients and can answer almost any questions regarding both Methadone and Subutex. Counselors are great! Other agencies would be lucky to have some of Stepping Stone's employees.

Absolutely completely unprofessional staff. I was called at work at 11:00 and was told to be there in an hour with my medication or I would be put in another clinic. I'm not even supposed to be on my phone unless I'm on break first of all. And I don't have my medication on me at work I take it before I go to work so that means I would have to drive home and then drive there within an hour. There's too many doctors that prescribe this medication now which is a good thing to have to deal with unprofessional staff

Always have and will be there for you!! If you have a problem with anything tell someone it can be worked out. I have known the owner when that individual was a director of a different facility, listen that person is tough but fair, after all if your a true addict like me then you got game. Just try. That's all. I just lost my soulmate soulmate..my superman and went to 2 other places in my heart I knew my peeps were in Boone. I drive 200 miles for my recovery in a ragged out car a local Church donated to us. U can do it. Sent to u with luv 4 real. L.L. The faith of a mustard seed can move mountains...

Terrible nurse practitioner (no real dr there). I never saw my counselor and their hours on Saturdays are near impossible if you live anywhere other than Boone. (7-9 am). The nurse who gets to decide what medication you get is does not understand alot about the medications they are dispensing. The girls up front are very kind and helpful. I also thought it was weird that they did no blood work on my first trip but the nurse was dead set on basically giving me the wrong meds which would have put me into precipitated withdraws. I feel like blood work and basic knowledge of drug interactions should be a give in. These are a dime a dozen, go somewhere that at least knows whats in your system when you first come. I am glad that i broke a rule (eyeroll) and got kicked out because im now in a REAL program.
