Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox is the process of removing addictive substances from your body while under medical supervision. Quitting alcohol and drugs on your own can cause uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects. In a medically supervised detox, licensed medical professionals monitor you 24/7 to help keep you as safe and comfortable as possible. The process is highly individualized to fit your specific needs, but the medical detox generally takes 5-7 days.

Programs

Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Went to this place for the first time ever Today and have never tried methadone before Today. The doctor and staff were extremely knowledgeable about everything and truly care and made very easy and a fantastic first experience long lines so keep that in mind but overall was really shocked at how cool and caring they were and pretty fast as well so will be going back every day now for sure.If it's your first time or 5th time this place is definitely something I would truly recommend and that's being completely honest no BS.

I have been going here for about 7 months. They are very caring and really listen to me. I have always gotten the help I needed, when I needed it. It was the first clinic to get me right in, every other one in the area couldn't get me in for a week. Discovery took me in to be seen within days. I have been sober since my first week of being here, there is great support and resources for help. The counselor's are all kind and treat us like we are more than just a dosing number.

Being in recovery can be pretty intense, stressful, and overwhelming- thank to discovery house staff & the maintenance drug I receive I've taking my life back. When I first started going to the clinic I was incredibly scared & my life was looking pretty hopeless. I had just had a baby & a major surgery. The meds from the surgery had sparked my old love with the devil/opioids and taking me from recovery to addict all over again & quicker than ever before. I was on the verge of losing my child, my housing & probably close to losing my life. Thank to the clinic I have 3 years sober time and I'm legitimately working a program and actually successful on that program for more than a few months. The only down fall is I Medically smoke marijuana for my anxiety so I have to go daily but I would rather do this daily over my old life anyday. If your struggling with recovery I would strongly suggest at least calling discovery house and seeing what they can offer you. This place and the staff has been incredibly helpful, they're well educated on the subject and the staff incredibly friendly even after dealing with some incredibly ugly people on a daily basis. This was the crunch I needed to start bettering myself, my life, and my future. The stigma of being on methadone is definitely not what it's made out to be. And definitely better than getting high- especially not with all the bad drugs going around and the crazy amount of overdoses. Not everyone uses maintenance drugs just to keep using without ever getting sick. Some just need a crutch to help them get there & this was the crutch that worked for me- and I tried them all. I actively used for over 10 tens with my longest sober time being locked up until I found this problem.. many dont like talking about addiction but maybe if we talked about it more there would be less of it behide closed doors. Addition a daily battle you fight for life
