I started going to PCTC around 12/2020 I believe.. I have found the staff to be very kind , caring , and helpful . I had Jackie as a counselor when I started and she was promoted and went to Anderson location and I ended up with a new counselor Chelsea and have been lucky enough to have her ever since ! They have helped me with transportation when I've had issues getting there as I am disabled and don't drive , I have had some very hard things happen in my life and I grew to trust Chelsea and have been able to talk to her and she has helped me lot just by listening and truly ended up failing a DT and knew I hadn't done anything and have had a flawless record and had just taken an observed 2 days before(clean as can be other than methadone )an being given the DT that I took on my own that came up as failed and I was so shocked and cried because I knew I hadn't done anything and it was just very helpful that she helped me through that and she helped me figure out what happened.. I figured she wouldn't believe me because I am sure so many have said the same , but she didn't and she cared enough to help me figure it out. All of staff there are just such genuine caring people and seem to be doing it because they truly care to help ppl recover and not just doing it for a paycheck . They have connected with so many that I see and the kids that have to come with their parents they connect and get to know the ppl and don't make you feel less than for having to go through the process of recovery. I recommend them to anyone who is serious about bettering and extending their life by leaving addiction behind .

I love the nurses and doctors that work here so much. I ve been through so much and they come through for me every time. I drive rideshare for a living because I needed to work on my health. I had to leave my career and I m making a lot less money. If I can t drive, bills start piling up really quick.Unfortunately, I lost my glasses and I need them to drive legally. Typically the wait for an appointment is months long at the optometry clinic here.I didn t even ask for a favor. I just explained what was going on casually and she said hold on went back and talked to the doctor and said go have a seat we ll fit you in somewhere!Can t say enough, how much that means to me. I m a veteran; you show loyalty and respect to me, you re gonna get it back tenfold.

The work this agency does truly changes Pickens County for the better.

I see Dr. Fields and as someone who isn t looking for prescriptions and actually wants help for a quality life . I just want to praise this Lady . I can tell she s very busy as it is a clinic atmosphere. But I feel she genuinely cares about these illness s and is very educated and equipped with the tools needed to help people like myself .For once in my 32 years of life I feel optimistic. I just thought that was worth leaving a review in case it matters to any of you . So , Thank you Eve Fields !
