After reading some of the misguided comments directed at Dr. Boppana, I felt it necessary to add a counterpoint. I m so glad to have been assigned to this outstanding physician. Although his personal inclination is to not make much eye to eye contact, he is very attentive to what is being said by redirecting his focus away from the speaker. In so far as putting in a Bluetooth device while the patient is still speaking, this is in order to proceed directly into making the necessary consults in order to address the issues being described to him in real time.
