I feel as if I could write a novel on how wonderful my experience at Pasadena was. If I had to boil it down to a couple of words, they would be: life changing. From the very moment I spoke with one of their intake professionals over the phone, I could tell that this place was different. When I walked through the doors on the very first day, at one of my lowest points, I was met with care and understanding. It is obvious each member of the team is there with the singular goal of helping people get better. The group therapy setting can be daunting, but Pasadena does it the right way. I didn t realize how badly I needed that human connection until I was in the middle of it. Thank you to Justin, Michelle, Hannah, Ellen, Gabby, Ruthie, and Nicolla and anyone I may have missed who helped me through this process. Your dedication to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care will be something I cherish forever.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! I started seeing Deborah S. a couple months ago , & I must say , she is the BEST therapist I've had my entire life! She makes me feel so validated & heard ! I feel incredibly safe, and I feel I can express my feelings without the need to hide anything! Like finally someone is validating what I've been dealing with my whole life , finally I feel understood in dealing with my mental illnesses that I can't explain to anyone !! She actually gives me some hope !! Which has not been a thing with past experiences... she's always giving me new, important information that no other therapist or doctor ever explained to me!! She actually listens & understands! I'm just super grateful for her, and for A Helping Hand of Wilmington thank you a million times over!!!

My time at Lantana was helpful in beginning my recovery in many different ways. Not only were they committed to helping me understand my disease, they provided wonderful resources and coping strategies to help with moving forwards in life. Of these, the community aspect of the Lantana program allowed me to realize that one of the most powerful tools in recovery is being open and willing to talk to other people about both the struggles and successes of recovery. I was always treated their as a individual part of the whole that is the recovery community both within Lantana as well as throughout Charleston.

Structure House gave me the restart I needed to finish college. Kudos to Susan, Lacy, Ben and Katie K.

The women who do His work are experienced in addiction and recovery. They understand the level of commitment one must have to overcome addiction. The program offers an abundance of support and therapy. Life skills and sisterhood are refined. They invite you to stay longer if needed. This place is life saving.
