After reading some of the misguided comments directed at Dr. Boppana, I felt it necessary to add a counterpoint. I m so glad to have been assigned to this outstanding physician. Although his personal inclination is to not make much eye to eye contact, he is very attentive to what is being said by redirecting his focus away from the speaker. In so far as putting in a Bluetooth device while the patient is still speaking, this is in order to proceed directly into making the necessary consults in order to address the issues being described to him in real time. I was personally helped by his calling of no less than three people in order to accommodate my needs. Thank you Dr. Boppana.

This program works for young people who are ready to shake-off the poor choices that have led them to be powerless and grab onto the habits, thoughts and attitudes that enhance their lives. As parents, we realized that addiction is a family disease. Insight Weekly Parent Group has been an outlet for us to share our experience and hear of others . Learning healthy ways to love an young adult in their recovery and how to love while a person is still in addiction has been beneficial to our stable peace and calm. We now laugh and smile!
