Agreed. NOT the place to go. Dr.gets there whenever. Lost a job because of that. It's all about the money. There is no counselors you just pay your money, 85 dollars and get your drugs. Hmmm sound familiar? I was there a year and a half. Payed faithfully every weak without fail. Then as mentioned , I lost my job.Still gave her something. But she still kicked me out. No detox just good bye. Now after 100mg. A day I'm getting NOTHING. If that's not proof that she doesn't care about the patient. Lastly, her little dog bit me. Drs. reaction, the dog knows your bad. All because I couldn't pay. If I knew how to contact the State, I would report other things she does. She really needs to go.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Illinois is designed to help people recover from addiction to a number of substances. The length of each program and its intensity tend to vary, and the plan of care is based on your individual needs.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Just don t even consider go to this clinic. I was there for over a year and that was a year too long. If you have a job like most people do, you ll be late every day cause they don t start dosing until after 7am due to someone being late, she s not a doctor. Also, they re not friendly at all and just want your money. If you re serious about staying clean and getting the right counseling, then I would find a place with 5 star reviews, there s only one on here, here s a hint: Rolling Meadows. You can thank me if you see me later. Peace and love to all.

Ive,been there 2yrs in may. Over this time... No counselor avail. Especially when I started to detox. Excuses. Had to do it 5mg at a time. Excuses for dragging it out. Then she started not speaking to me. The last 10mg. She going out how to measure it 1mg. At a time. It's been approx 18mo. Ago that I started to detox. At 90mg. Uprofessional.. unethical. Never got to see or mix water with my dose and I'm a diabetic. Ask her that once. She changed the subject to the better type of pills that she uses. Never could get a pick up for medical procedures.a counselor told me when I asked about a vacation.. I'd have to get my medication at places where I was going. One counselor told me one thing. And for 6mo.. there was no one avail at all. But she got mad because I was leaving and told me I would not feel it. Later she said I would feel it. It's 3mo. Later and I was wrong. I'm on a 100mg. Now and I feel great. It was all my fault. It's a great place

Okay, let s just keep it real. I was a client/patient for over five years. I recently switched clinics, and although it was not because of the ongoings at this place, they certainly made it an easy decision. I will say that after reading ALL the reviews, the ones that speak poorly to the operations at Interventions are all absolutely honest. The doors NEVER open until 7am (the schedule is 6:30), and there is just no excuse for it. The Dr is the nurse, the accountant, the bookkeeper, and the head of everything......It s called micro managing in the extreme. You are fined if you forget a bottle or money. After years as a loyal patient, I was fined $20 when my bank card was compromised and I took a single extra day to pay. Absolutely unexceptable. Nearly impossible to get set up for take aways if you are leaving town. Unless of course you will cough up some cash. No interest whatsoever in helping you file insurance, giving you paperwork, copies, etc. And nearly twice as expensive as the other locations...$83 per week for 95 mgs.As to the people who claim that the Dr is moody, arrogant, and even nasty...I must in all honesty say that this is true. After years of going here I feel a pang of regret to say this, but I would in no way in good faith recommend this clinic to anybody. Good luck.

I would like to start off by saying that I do not usually write on-line reviews. I had however, come across some reviews on here that were negative and felt that I needed to clarify some things, and also share my positive experience with Schaumburg Interventions. I think the problem is that unhappy patients are quick to go online and write a negative review, but the patients that are happy and content often don't write online reviews. I have been a patient at Schaumburg Interventions for quite awhile and have been very pleased. Thanks to them, I have come a long way since the day I started. They really care about their patients, and try very hard to get us back on the right path. Upon joining the clinic you are provided with copies of their rules, and also what their fees are for all of their services. Therefore, at no time should there be any surprises about any charges since they do provide that upfront. They have rules and policies in place just like almost all places of business do. They care about the safety of everyone inside the clinic and therefore will not tolerate a patient becoming disruptive or making any threats. Dr. Velasco is there every day for dosing, and I take that as a sign of how much she cares about her patients and the clinic. How many of us can see a doctor as often as up to 6 times a week. She is very knowledgeable in the area of substance abuse, treatment, and recovery. If a patient does have any questions or complaints they are open to hearing what they are, and also coming up with a way to rectify whatever the situation may be. I am very thankful for Dr. Velasco and the staff at Schaumburg Interventions for helping me turn my life around in a positive direction, and for all the knowledge and support they have given me. I feel that finding a good clinic is key to a successful recovery, and that is exactly what Schaumburg Interventions is!

This is honestly the worst clinic I have ever been to. I've never been to a clinic that doesn't except debit or credit, they only want cash it makes me wonder if the only reason she's doing this is to hide from taxes. Other then that she only loves cash and penalties for every little thing she can get away with, charges extra for every and anything u will let her get away with. Today she called the cops on me and my boyfriend because she didn't want to dose us only cause she got there early first time in 4 months of us going there And wanted to charge us an extra 20$ on top of our 80$ weekly fee. MatherS clinic in Elgin is by far the best I have ever been to 77$ a week and not one extra fee.. so if u are looking for a clinic don't go here at all it's a waste of time. Dr v is crazy doesn't even acknowledge u when u go in to dose she's a evil person that doesn't care about anyone but herself.

The Dr. is crazy! Kicked my husband out and myself for making a comment about the late fee being ridiculous. Do not use them! If you have any problem they will go off on you and kick you out!
