This place is actually a nightmare, they will keep you until your insurance runs out and don't care about you, they only see you as a money sign. Steer clear, if you can. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a medical malpractice accusation at some point.

WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. FALSELY IMPRISONED, MISDIAGNOSED AS PSYCHOTIC, FORCED TO TAKE THE WRONG MEDICATION BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE ONE I WAS PRESCRIBED, VERY BAD SIDE EFFECTS. MOCKED AND RIDICULED BY ER STAFF AND NURSE TECHS; RECEIVED NO THERAPY AT ALL SUFFERING NOW FROM ADDTIONAL PTSD, NOT TO MENTION STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION AS A RESULT.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

I honestly don't know why people say this place is so bad. The wait time is always so short at least at night and most of the doctors here are good and caring. At one point I had cysts on my ovaries and was in so much pain and I went to Manchester ER and they sent me home then I came here and they figured it out and took good care of me.

I came to ER to have my heart checked. I could not have asked for a better team of people. Friendly, and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Medical staff was rude and unprofessional. Was being talked badly for reason of visit and doubted by Dr through the curtain. When informed that they were able to be heard speaking improperly, was told "No you can't.". And was told it "wasn't possible". As though the "rooms" aren't made of curtains and aren't able to be seen through. This is the second time something like this has occurred with this hospital over the span of multiple years. This establishment and it's staff make you feel as though you don't have the decency or right to be seen in a medical emergency. Highly unprofessional. I encourage the medical team here to reconsider their approach when speaking about patients and to extend even a slight amount of empathy. Poor care.

I was having chest pains and vomiting. I went to the ER, they admitted me promptly, and ran tests. They took every precaution to keep me safe while they were running tests. The last test, which was a blood test, showed that my heart enzyme was elevated. Dr. Thomas immediately contacted St. Thomas West in Nashville and they were waiting for me when I got there. So thankful to Dr. Thomas and the ER staff for getting me to Nashville so quickly. I had a life-saving stent put in and immediately felt better. I credit this hospital for helping to save my life because they worked so quickly to figure out what was wrong and got me to the right place in time. I thank God for all of them!

My sister was there for a few days and could hardly breathe or talk and on oxygen, I was there with her and the nurse that was working at the time had no bedside manners. Very rude!

Dr. Todd is a very knowledgeable and kind doctor. He has a great bed side manner and treats people like people and not a number. The nurses seem kind but 1 is pretty strict and very direct - but in that profession I can understand the need for strictness and some can find appreciation for that. Overall we had no wait time and was seen promptly. Dr J Todd is a great doctor and serves his community very well in caring for folks.
