outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Clients undergoing treatment at an inpatient rehab receive extensive therapeutic support through daily addiction counseling and recovery-focused services. These often include addiction education and life skills training. Many inpatient facilities also offer evidence-based holistic therapies, such as massage, yoga, acupuncture, creative arts therapy, and experiential therapy. Inpatient care is typically best suited for clients who recently completed detox, are in early recovery, or at a heightened risk of relapse.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare

Clients in addiction recovery typically require robust, ongoing support, which rehab aftercare programs are designed to provide. These programs are premised on the idea that clients' mental, emotional, physical, social, and financial wellbeing is essential to recovery. Clients collaborate with their case managers and addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services they will need to thrive while in recovery. Clients may receive peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.

12-step icon12-Step

12 step programs are designed to foster participants' recovery through spiritual development, promoting healing in mind, body, and spirit. Participants engage in 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, and accessible daily, including evening, night, and weekend group sessions. Participants also self-select a sponsor to support them throughout their recovery journey. Though rooted in spiritual principles, participants do not have to be religiously-affiliated. Specialized formats, including gender and age-specific ones, are available.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

The goal of drug rehab in Arkansas is to help individuals stop using addictive substances and learn healthy ways to remain clean long-term. Participants learn vital skills to cope with cravings and manage stress, to prevent relapse.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

My PCP referred me to the Counseling Center and I was quickly contacted and was sent all my intake paperwork to fill out ahead of time. I was then scheduled with a Therapist within 2 days and met with my new Psychiatrist also. I have Recurrent Major Depressive Disorder with Anxiety along side a history of AUD. The staff is always extremely kind and helpful. They work with your schedule and are available for quick response if needed. I feel the decision to come here has given me real hope in managing my mental state and ultimately my life going forward. I'm very grateful to have the support provided here.

This office needs to fire all the front office workers and actually hire people who know how to schedule an appointment. I'm sure I'm a terrible patient in their records simply because I have missed countless appointments due to the fact that the scheduling staff refuse to call patients and confirm appointments. Instead, you get randomly blocked in and receive only ONE call the day before your appointment. No, "Hey, we scheduled you for this time on this day. Does that work for you?" Missed the appointment? That's a strike. Only reason I did not give one star is because I have had no problems with the Doctor herself.

Canon shows no interest at all in her clients. She's clearly there to just make a quick buck. Would not recommend at all.

Absolutely terrible. They cancel appointments without letting you know they've been cancelled. Staff is arrogant and have zero desire to help anyone.

This place is a joke. Now, if you don't have any actual problems and you need someone to just talk and vent to then I would recommend this place. But if you have severe problems, go somewhere else. Holly the psychiatrist does not care about you at all whatsoever. This place needs to realize they are serving the most vulnerable of people and sometimes you need to step out of a JOB and put yourself into the shoes of even a remotely decent person.

My psychiatrist Dr. Cannon is amazing. She is very detail oriented and my therapist Jennifer came with strong recommendations. I was apprehensive at first because of our ages. By far the most comfortable I have ever been with a therapist. The office staff is a mess since Ms. Ragina went to NEA.I had to be complaint because I was diagnosed with breadt cancer at 31.

I see Mandy as my therapist and Trish NP in psych, and she is my doctor. Both listen so well to me. I was new and very afraid. One of my things is fear. My 2and session went great. Nothong too deep but Mandy is amazing and I think we are off to a good start.Just wish she could take it all away from us all.

Dr. Lovelace was amazing. I am so glad SSBH found her. Her intake with me allowed me to feel human. Which is the most important thing with trusting doctors. She is so down to earth and we even had a few good laughs.Thank you SBBH for giving me someone who made me feel humor and not just a number on a file

Most difficult and unprofessional doctors office I have ever dealt with. People behind the desk sit there on their phones and are no help for anything, if you can even get their attention. It takes weeks to get my prescriptions called in for refills every single month, leaving me completely out for weeks at a time. If you can go ANYWHERE else, do it.
